Nice colors, but one year service life

Beautiful saturated initial color. Very nice size. Now, a year later, the colors are about halfway faded out, and the fabric is brittle and worn to threadbare. This is, in part, insufficient UV light resistance, and thin-gauge woven fabric. So this is not as good as the older WindSport models. The mouth ring, harness cord, and swivel snap are still in good shape however. The whole needs to be of high quality. I wish the fabric wasn’t so “disposable.”

Vibrant colors, sways in slightest breeze.

The media could not be loaded. I love the vibrant colors. The larger fish gets much more movement in the slightest breeze. It had large wrinkles where it had been folded in the package, so I used a warm iron and now it is perfect. I love my fish!

Love this!

So far so good!! This is a gorgeous windsock that is standing up to some pretty strong oceanfront winds. Colors are So vibrant too! Update - no matter how much we secured this to our pole, the strong coastal winds took it away :(

Great wind sock

This 48" wind sock finally was bested by the winter wind after 21 months. It lasted quite a while, through some substantial Indiana wind and weather. The colors still look great - about 90% of original after being out for almost 2 years. I think the swirling 50+mph wind one day wrapped it around the screw that holds it and tore it, though it still works and looks mostly ok. Buying another one because this really looks great in our yard and held up well.

Cute, Colorful, Does the Job

I keep a spare of these on hand to replace the one that’s worn out. The wind in coastal North Carolina makes all the difference in how the weather feels. It helps to know the wind direction and how hard it’s blowing before going outside, and this is a good indicator. I’ve mounted a cheap fishing pole to my deck shower post and it’s easy to clip the windsock onto the top. They don’t last very long here on the oceanfront, but they’re cheap enough that I don’t mind replacing them every 3-4 months. The first photo is one that’s been through about 3 months of winter; the second is the brand new one flying proudly.

Durable, Long-lasting Color

Compared to other wind socks I've owned, this one flies well, is sturdy, and the color is relatively stable. This is the third (identical) one I've owned. It flies in my backyard 90% of the time year-round. Summer temperatures here are often over 100 degrees, and winter temperatures sometimes dip below zero. Lots of sunshine and lots of wind all year. After 6 months the colors noticeably fade, and after nine months the nylon fabric starts to break down. I replace the windsock when it starts to tatter. Photo was taken on a typically windy day in March. It really brightens up a dull wintry landscape.

Smaller than expected

Opening is only about 4 in and wasnt what I expected. Overall look is neat and kids enjoy it. Installed right after i got it. Only seen a few high winds 60 km/hr plus and so far no rips or tears

Attractive useful tool

A pretty colorful and large windsock that engagingly dances around partnered with my clothes line. I use it to test the intensity of the wind. I hook it on the line and push it all the way through and back. For me, it has a useful role as well as a decorative one. The material used appears durable and once hung is free of wrinkles. The colors are stables in the sun.

it is hard to find a windsock here . we like having one over our boat house so we can see how the wind is blowing. it is pretty and the right size. will see how durable it is.

Rainbow fish brings smiles
