Good, light boot
I purchased these boots as a gift for my son. He works on a hard surface all day and these were a boon. The boots are light and not too hot. The waterproof nature was something I missed, or I might not have purchased them, afraid that they would be too hot. But he has not complained...yet.

The only reason I give it a four star is for the breathability. If you happen to be indoors a bit and get sweaty feet, it will be pronounced with these. Now again, they are waterproof so it is a bit expected, but the toe tips are worse with the rubber set up.

Hunting Boots that are good Tactical Boots
I had bought a pair of under armor that I felt were very comfortable and I stated that in my review I also stated that they were not water proof and that they needed to be treated before wearing in wet weather . Well after a year they fell apart to the rough treatment of Cleveland and the water proofing spray didn't last long either. So it was back to the drawing board and after weeks of looking at tactical boots I see these Irish setters and I say to myself you have two pair of Irish Setters for hunting and your feet have never been wet. I received these boots quickly and began to wear these boots in downtown Cleveland on the foot beat I must say that they were very comfortable right out of the box they are hunting boots but are by far the lightest hunting boots ever and I can say that my feet were bone dry in a down pour. these boots have it all and even though I have only had them a couple of weeks you can see and feel the quality which is hands down the best I have seen in years. I have been an officer for 28 years and a Sergeant for 16 years and these boots make being on feet a pleasure. Great Job Irish Setter

Irish Setter Men's 2864 Vaprtek 8" Hunting Boot, 10 EE US
I like the look and weight of the boot. I usually wear a 9.5 4 E so, I thought a 10 EE would work for me but, it's too narrow, tight around my toes. The length of the size 10 was OK it was about 1/2" to 5/8" longer than my 9.5 shoes. It's difficult for me to buy boots/shoes due to my wide feet, most manufacturers for some reason don't offer them in 4 E. I wouldn't have ordered it but Amazon offered a Free Return Shipping on this boots so I took a chance.

I'm not really sure how to rate these boots. My fault, but i purchased these boots for work boots. Which i feel would work well but i find myself walking around in rocks quite a bit. So my heels wound up suffering, purchased an insert for heel pain and i've had minimal heel pain since then. I do appreciate how well these boots breathe though. I live in Arizona where it's summer 9 out of 12 months and i tend to get pretty sweaty feet. but these boots keep my feet nice and dry. I haven't really got to test just how waterproof the boots are since it rarely rains here, but it did rain yesterday for a little bit and my feet were still dry. so they're good enough for me! As far as hunting boots are concerned, i feel that these would be a great choice for any terrain while hunting, unless of course you're in an area where there are a lot of small rocks. In a forest environment i would imagine these boots being superbly comfortable though.

I wear these as a duty boot for a busy Fire/EMS department. These things are like gym shoes comfort wise. Best boot I've had in 11 yrs so far. We'll see how they last but so far they are perfect. Updated 01/19/2016 After approx 9 months, they're both falling apart and have no tread left. I wear 1 pair at a very busy fire/ems department, they have a horrific smell inside. The other I wear on off days for garage work and outdoor activities, hunting/shooting, and they have torn on both sides by the ball of my foot, both boots. Disappointed to say the least as these are quite expensive boots to not last.

Read the reviews and knew to buy a half size larger. Add the purchase in Fall of 2015 and have put them to the test. Have hunted in the muck and mud, snowy plains and river creeks running through. These boots work, keep your feet dry and warm. My only wish is that they had better lugs for some of the wet weather, but I’ve been safe, warm and satisfied through all hunts for birds, deer and elk since buying them. Ready to purchase a 2nd pair in black for wear around town. They are that comfortablez

Not durable but dope looking
Loved the look. Bought them twice. They should run about 65 to 85$ not the 150 that's often marked. They wear quickly no matter what but they look sick.
