{HYDROTOOLS PRO TIP} Hüdrotööriistad nr 71015. Liiv filtreerib 20–100 mikroni suurused osakesed. Filtripallid filtreerivad kuni 3. Nõuetekohase hoolduse korral saab filtrikuule taaskasutada kuni 5 aastat. {DURABLE MATERJAL} Hydrotoolsi filtripallid on valmistatud tööstusliku kvaliteediga polüestrist, akrüülkerakiududest, mis on loodud pikendama filtri eluiga, soodustama puhtaimat filtreerimist + filtri kiirust ja oluliselt pikemat kasutusiga kui liiv. {LIHTNE KASUTAMINE} 1 kott filtrikuulikesi (1,5 naela) võrdub 50 naela liivafiltriga.

Mixed feelings
Ok so first of all I'm going to say the function of the pump/filter is great. Keeps my pool nice and clean. BUT this thing is just really not user friendly. It took a long to l time to put together initially. But the most annoying thing is if you need to adjust anything or change sand/filter balls it's a whole process to do anything! So here is my list of complaints: 1. No on/off switch. Must unplug. 2. All the clamps for the hoses are metal with screws so you will need a screw driver to do ANY adjustments on this filter/pump 3. To change out the sand/filter balls you have to remove the top (which requires a screw driver) and either change out the top with the easy fill thing (which is a pain) or turn it on it's side and wiggle to get all the balls/sand out of the way to close it up again. 4. There's a bottom drain that I really don't see a purpose in and it's just another place for leaks and if it's not screwed in properly you have to again remove the top and reach through the inside to adjust. Other things I'll mention which I will take more blame for in that we don't have ours covered so could just be weathering. 1. The pressure gauge went out within a few weeks of having it. 2. The pump itself actually cracked around the intake valve. So I was able to get done quick set epoxy and just cover the crack. It seems to be holding, and it's still working. Anyways. I don't think I would buy this again because it's not very user friendly. But the pump itself works great

TERRIBLE installation instructions & hose design, but very quiet and works great once installed
I give the .9 hp pump 3 stars for the following reasons: PROS The pump is very quiet once installed. Flow is really nice, and it appears to be working great, lots of flow, much better than my old 1 hp pump. Almost whisper quiet. (I use Zeosand, and the water is so beautiful.) So this puts it at a 5-star starting point for me, but I have to dock points for the CONS, below. CONS 1. Many of the components feel very cheap, with brittle plastic that will soon break in the sun. I give it a year before the plastic breaks. I actually cracked a piece while tightening a connection. (Hand-tightened.) 2. Installation instructions are TERRIBLE! So, read through, carefully, and take your time, think it through before acting. Examples: The instructions literally tell you to attach the container to the base and fill the sand/water first, only to have you, as the very last step, attach the pump to the base. The problem? The pump gets attached from the bottom, so how in the world are you supposed to lift the base with 100 lbs of sand in the container? Luckily I read through the instructions and did the steps in a better order. And, really, they should tell people to put a little grease on the o-rings to help seal (and supply the grease, like they supplied the teflon). They should also tell people which parts to use teflon on and which NOT. (If you put the teflon on the wrong threads, it will actually increase the leaks, which I think is what people are experiencing when they are talking about bad leaks.) Pictures don't show all the parts or steps properly. 3. Hose design is terrible. The white hose going between the pump and sand container has the seat for the o-rings on the hose, not the receiving side, so you have to work really hard to keep the o-rings stable while maneuvering the hose onto the connection. Basically you need 3 hands! The o-ring seat should be on the stable components! 4. Base design doesn't let you reach the screws properly to tighten down the pump. This shows poor engineering. This thing isn't rocket science and shouldn't require a professional to install, just good instructions....but these are missing. Anyway, if you've read this far, here are my tips: 1. Attach the pump to the base first, then attach and fill the sand container. 2. When connecting the white hose between the pump and container, attach it to the pump first, then the container. It's easier to maneuver that way. 3. Put some grease on your o-rings. 4. Don't use teflon on the white hose connectors. Teflon on those threads will prevent the o-rings from sealing. (To clarify what I mean, look at the white hose connectors and think the teflon question through. If it will prevent you from threading all the way, the o-ring will be lose and will leak. The o-rings need to squish down and seal.) 5. DO use lots of teflon on your black hose connectors, more than you normally would on indoor plumbing. I used 5 layers and have no leaks on the first try. 6. When attaching the top to the sand container, alternate back and forth between the two screws to avoid cracking your clamp. Good luck! Hopefully I remember to update this after a year of use. I'll try.

Good pump, a little quirky at the beginning
The filter/pump work great, easy to assemble with instructions provided. The filter itself seems to need to be backwashed about every other day at first though, and the meter never reads the pressure above 0 no matter how forceful the water is coming back out or not. (I'm sure that's my own user error, maybe it's screwed in too tight? I'm gonna mess with it and see if I can get it to read better) I have this on my 18ft above ground pool, and it does an okay job....it's filtering continuously because my pool is surrounded by trees and we use it every day (& I worked in the pool industry for a long time, so I'm used to having them run all the time). I think the issues with maintaining filtration if the giant pool are more a design flaw of the pool itself than the filter/pump (i.e., only having one side skimmer filter point vs multiple down in the pool) especially for a pool this size ....but....this thing runs smoothly, quietly, and is definitely kickin' more butt than the stock one which broke within a month. Levelled up here for sure! Great price point for the quality. I do wish the instructions included more troubleshooting tips ....it doesn't look like there's a power button in this thing, so I'm unplugging it and having to plug it back in to switch between modes (backwash/rinse/filter), and specifics on how to get the gauge to read would be good. The review below mentions a timer, but this does not have a timer. Also, the pump has NO skimmer basket, so there's nothing keeping the debris from going straight into the filter.....God only knows how many cicadas I now have in that thing. Fortunately, my skimmer basket from the pool has a strainer....but that wasn't staying out for a couple of days, so it's possible some got through. Lastly, there could be instructions on hooking up the vacuum to this system. I had to order a skimmer attachment, and it doesn't get nearly enough suction as a direct line to the pump would. But then, there's no skimmer basket in the pump, so I don't really want all of that debris going directly into the filter either. :-/ Room for improvement, but overall very pleased.

Qu'est-ce qui est le plus important de savoir ?
Tres bien. Facile d'installation pour une piscine hors terre. Moteur silencieux. Je la recommande.

Nice upgrade!
This was a great upgrade. If you are not an idiot you’ll figure out how you want to plumb it. You’ll have to use Teflon tape on all the threaded fittings, which is normal. Pump is quiet and powerful. Pump is prewired for simple plug in but you’ll need a timer like an Xmas light timer. Filter is simple and no issues so far. The kit gives you what you need. Instructions clear.

Good deal for the price
Since making the switch my pool is so much cleaner . Backwashing and vacuuming is a breeze . My only complaint is that the hoses that were included were not the correct diameter for my summer wave pool. Would buy again

Poor pump
For the first couple weeks this worked amazing. Then the pump lost power. It still technically works but the suction is no longer strong enough for my skimmer to work.
