Easy to install and use

I installed in a DIY above-ground sprinkler setup, for a lawn I am overseeding. One corner of the yard is tight quarters, so I needed this nozzle with the restricted "throw", in addition to the 3000 series for the rest of the yard. Perfect. Once you get the hang of them, the MP rotators are very easy to adjust. I recommend getting the little orange plastic adjustment tool. Depending on the hoses you use, and the water pressure at your home, you may need to use a splitter at the faucet and/or use a timer with multiple zones, so that you get the maximum advertised throw from your sprinkler heads.

Distance not right

I needed to cover 13 feet, and this nozzle supposedly covered 8 to 15 feet. The water fell about 3 feet short. I got the MP 2000 and got the needed coverage. So the MP 1000 may fall short. Both nozzles work well.

A bit pricey.

This was a replacement for an existing sprinkler head. It's something you can't pick up at Home Depot so the online purchase worked out well.

Great nozzle

This nozzle works well as I was looking for water range more than 15 feet. Also, It sprays water at a low rate when comparing with other typical sprinklers. So, I ran the water for a longer time than typical sprinklers. It does save water too in the long run as the water coming out of the nozzle at a low rate. Water was absorbed by soil slowly rather than rushing a lot of water to the lawn.

Highly Recommend over standard nozzles

Great water dispersion. Run several types of MPs. Used to run old standard spray heads and did not like the small mist evaporation. Lot of wasted water. These MP heads emit hardly any mist especially if run at 50psi. Can certainly run at higher psi but will get more mist evaporation. I do run my zones longer than before but I water significantly more effectively using less water. Highly recommend these MP heads.

I do a lot of dim (do it myself) irrigate repairs and tweaks and, always on the hunt to make the irrigation system more efficient as the current 30+ old system at my townhouse doesn’t water just where it needs to, is poorly designed and, no longer suitable as the landscape updated over the years
