its ok - water proof but needs existing switch to work

this unit goes over top of existing decora switch - which will NOT fork for smart switches due to the fact it presses AND holds down the switch itself, on or off, this re-porgrams the switch!

Works good BUT

Worked like it should. Just don’t use the screws provided. Ever. I did, just to see, and I had to change the screws out. They’re cheap. Otherwise, works fine. Bad screws every electrical outlet or switch differs from. Before they strip the holes. (That’s what she said)

Stylish Outdoor Switches

So glad I found these covers. They look great, are as watertight as a certain part of a duck, and they were reasonably priced. I installed 2 of them on my back patio. Each switch controls a light or outlet. These covers gave me the flexibility to wire the way I wanted to. Highly Recommended.

Switch button stopped working after less than 1 year

The Right switch button stopped working after 1 year. The product is a nice design but really seems to lack quality as the switch failed so quickly.

works well in limited access applications

I applaud whoever came up with this cover: I replaced a 3-gang lever style switch partially obstructed by a handrail, making the flip lid version unworkable. the salt air made the lever-style w/p switch unusable: the lever switches were immovably welded in one position.
