HKC-US no support

The product is superb. Had it professionally installed by a licensed contractor. My discord is with the manufacturer (Hong Kong China Electric Appliance LTD dba HKC-US) and their lack of customer support (care). These fans aren’t cheap and neither are their parts if one is missing as was in my case. I Reached out to HKC-US and Randy K. from their Palm Coast Imports replied back saying, “ The batteries for the remote are proprietary and are an item we do not carry as a spare part. You can find them at your local home improvement store.” Their batteries are the quarter size ones that are sold separately elsewhere but in their listing (description) it was included with the price.

Nice

We got this fan for our odd shaped living room, which is long but narrow. It fit perfectly within the area we needed and the fan blows off some extreme air. We were not thrilled about all the technology thats involved, such as no pull strings. We didn't realize it until after we received the product. But it came as described, and was semi-easy to install. We did not follow the directions to a T, but it was self-explanatory really. The remote works good with the sytem and does as it says. It comes with button batteries, not your standard ones. You can place the remote on the wall, and use it as a switch. The lights it comes with are dim ( vintage style ) and perfect for our use. The whole fan is pretty and appealing to the eye, we get alot of compliments.

So far so good

I was not head to see it put together or see it installed. My son installs all of my light fixtures ceiling fans etc… he has never complained about an appliance. But he said this one he was ready to fling out the door lol. My daughter is the one to help him with these things. And she concurred as well ahaha. But I love it. I’m slowly converting my home to rustic/farm decor. And this fits the aesthetic! I hadn’t read the reviews before purchasing. Hopefully I don’t get issues with the remote. Very silent and good air

Beautiful fan!

Excellent looking ceiling fan love the remote control options fantastic light and looks beautiful only small issues was putting the fan blades on very difficult to put small screws in one little opening besides that love the fan.

Quiet

So far so good. Fan is quiet and lights are bright. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because lights are exposed which I like for ease of changing bulbs just hard to get used to and avoid looking into with standard ceilings

Crap quality remote - nice looking fan

I love the look of the fan - I put 3 of these in my house, however, one remote just stopped working a little over a year since installation, which is ridiculous and obviously low quality. I tried new batteries, “reprogramming” the remote - nothing worked. So I bought a replacement remote and had an electrician come install it, because part of the fan has to be taken apart to do so.

It works well so far and is super quiet!

I absolutely love this fan. After ordering one of the others that was a huge disappointment, this fan made all of that better. I love the look of it, the easy install, and the quietness overall. I hear nothing! Works especially well in my living room given the low ceilings.

Muy buen producto

Me encantaron estos ventiladores, compré 2 desde hace casi 1 año y los dos funcionan muy bien, dan buen aire, considerando que vivo en zona calurosa, no hacen mucho ruido. Tiene muy buenas funciones, como programar la luz cuando sales de viaje para que prenda y apague automáticamente por intervalos de tiempo, o que se apague 5 mins después de salir, o disminuir la intensidad de la luz.
