Fantastic Quality Waterproof Pant

I bought these for my daughter who is on the water daily for her crew program in the northeast beginning in February. They keep her dry and warm in the cold and wet conditions. She practiced in the rain on the bay and her clothes underneath remained dry.

Not for me...

Although these were nice quality pants, they just didn't work for me. I got a size M and they fit good, but I did not like how they fit me. Also, the material was too thin for what I needed it for. I ended up returning, and purchasing other HH pants.

Nice pants but run small

I like these pants a lot. Nice fabric and how the ankles have a velcro closure so you can adjust them over boots. I found they run small. They will fit fine if I don't wear them over other pants, but who does that? I should have ordered the next size up.

Very versatile pants!

This is my second pair of these pants. The original ones are going strong just wanted a back up for the future. I use these pants over whatever pants I am wearing to feed my horses, yardwork, extra warmth or to keep dry. These are my go to and I love them!

Love the short person length and Velcro ankles

Love these pants— especially the Velcro at the ankles for tightening. I am short, 5’2”, and they fit perfectly, which is nice because most rain pants are way too long on me. The only thing I would say is that I wish that the waist was made to be a little higher. I also think it would be nice if there was a version with elasticized ankles instead of Velcro. I really don’t like loose ankles in pants.

Very nice shell pants

I went to the Helly Hansen website to use their fitting guide which was very helpful. I ended up ordering the large size which is perfect. I weigh about 150 and an 5' 5" tall. Their site asked one question among others in determining what size to recommend and that was your age. True fact that probaly older women want a larger size fit than younger ones. ;-)

They trap the cold

I bought these to wear over fleece pants to do some winter activities thinking they were a 'shell'. They are rain pants, and clearly not meant to be a shell over layers in winter. I gave them three stars because they are not poor quality in terms of how they are made, but they do not function as a shell pant for cold weather. I was colder with them on than I was when I took them off.

Comfortable, easy movement. Good buy!

Love these pants! I use mine as snow pants. Ordered XL. Comfortable waste-band, washes well. I hang to dry. I do wish there were zippers on the side of the legs (knees down) so pants could go over boots.

Nice but odd sizing

These are really nice pants, but the sizing is way off. They also think suit a curvy body type with bigger legs and a smaller waist. The size that fit my legs was massive on the waist. I returned them.
