Hayward Genuine Part in OEM packaging
When ordered, I assumed I was ordering a third party part that was compatible with Hayward products. What I got was much better than expected - a genuine Hayward OEM part, in sealed Hayward OEM packaging. Much better than expected. It also came a week faster than promised. Five stars all the way around!

Exact Replacement
This worked exact to specification. Found out after ordering that I could pick up a 2 pack of water hose caps from Lowes for $1, that worked just as well. 3 stars for having a high priced, low cost product. Otherwise, delivery was fast.

As advertised
Hayward could sell a much more substantial washer as the washers that come with wear out quickly. The nice this is that of you order a replacement cap they send you 2 washers so you have extra. Not a bad thing to have on hand

This is inch long and inch deep it doesn’t fit and probably wouldn’t fit a sand pump at all it is like a jug size cap like if u bought gas tank this would fit that not a sand pump at all waste of money

Make sure it’s for the correct model.
It is the real Hayward product but the information for model fit types is incorrect. Worth every penny if it’s the one you need.

Fit perfect! Glad I was able to find this kit. Within a couple of days I had what I needed.
It showed there would be two gaskets for the sight glass but only one came. Would have been nice to have a back up so I wouldn't get stuck again not having one.
