The opposite of high pressure

I purchased this handheld shower head to replace an older Hansgrohe shower head that had cracked and was leaking from the side. In short, it feels a little... sad. There are three settings, the first two offer varying degrees of a mist-like shower experience. The way the droplets are dispersed, you can barely feel them against your skin. While this might be what some people are looking for, I appreciate a high pressure stream with fat droplets I can feel against my skin and my scalp that wakes me up in the morning and blasts off the suds. Without that pressure, I feel like I need to work a little harder to rinse clean. The third setting does achieve some of that high pressure blast, albeit with a much more targeted, stream that shoots out from the very center of the shower head. The droplets are so small, they apply needle-like pressure over a small targeted area. It works for what I expect in a shower, but I would love a more broader, drenching spray. I will caveat that I was only able to purchase the 1.75gpl shower head. It doesn't look like the 2.5 will deliver in California, so it's possible the 2.5gpl could provide the deluge I'm looking for. But at least I'm saving water.

Handheld shower head

This is a nice hand held shower head. Easy to install and over the past several months it has worked well for me and my family. I wish it had more than 3 spray options, but it does the job. It’s also great to use for washing the doggies.

I am in love with this brand

I’ve been using Hansgrohe (almost exclusively) for a while, and I am in love with this brand. This rainfinity rain handheld shower is great for the place with the high water pressure to fully take advantage of it. Powder rain feels quite soft on the skin, while intense powder rain is good to feel a bit of massage like effects. HAnsgrohe is generally known for its nice design, top quality, and good performance, and this one doesn’t disappoint either.

Like the powder rain modes for relaxing but not quite strong enough, thankfully third mode works

After going to the gym or playing tennis I appreciate having a powerful water stream to cleanse myself of sweat quickly. The PowderRain modes work well at promoting relaxation and for making you slow down your showering experience to enjoy it, though they don't provide a strong enough stream to quickly clean you. Thankfully, there's a directed pulse mode in the middle (all of the modes are changed with a button which works well and feels premium) which does a great job of cleaning your body quickly. This is another premium hansgrohe product that I would recommend thanks to its build quality and features. You'll want to mount it higher than a traditional handheld shower head with a slight angle if you want to take full advantage of the PowderRain modes.

Excellent Handheld Shower Head

The media could not be loaded. This shower head looks great and works wonderfully. I installed it in about two minutes replacing another smaller and lower end model. It is made of a very heavy duty plastic with a nice metallic looking finish. It does not appear cheaply made. The push button control works very well and is much easier to use than a toggle. There are three water spray settings. The powder rain setting is dreamily soft, though if you prefer something more forceful than the more concentrated shower stream may be for you. The very concentrated stream seems the least useful, but may come in handy for spray cleaning. Bonus Hint: Should you ever have the need to convert this from 1.75 gpm to the higher 2.5 gpm flow rate, there is a blue plastic regulator that is easy enough to remove by snapping it out with a micro flat-head screwdriver (it will break and not be re-usable).

An elegant handheld shower head from hansgrohe, this is also a very expensive bathroom fixture. hansgrohe is a German designer and manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom fixtures. hansgrohe design and manufacture are at the top end of the fixture spectrum. hansgrohe is owned by the American building products conglomerate, Masco Corporation, joining a stable of Masco-owned fixture manufacturers that includes Peerless, Delta and Brizo. Warranty on hansgrohe is for the lifetime of the original owner, and hansgrohe's customer service is on a par with Delta's excellent customer service. This is a beautiful shower head. The finish is silky smooth and elegant. The handle and head are solid metal. The spray nozzles are easily-cleaned silicone. Three spray patterns can be chosen between by the press of a button on the handle. Design and function are smoothly precise. Spray patterns are wide, slightly narrower and more intense, and a very focused and intense stream. OK. If you can afford this, it's a classic fixture. It's expensive, but this is a beautiful piece.
