A Great Summer Activity for Kids

This kit is a great way to keep the kids entertained and engaged! I love so many things about this set that I plan on gifting it for birthdays going forward. Here's what makes it so great: -The book is attached to the box of supplies, so nothing will get lost or separated. -The book is detailed, with illustrations for each step of the process. -The instructions have alerts where a kid will need an adult's help, so if you want you can have them work independently until they come across those alerts. -The book isn't just a bunch of DIYs, it actually includes brief lessons on the concepts that the included crafts demonstrate, like force & motion. -Instead of just being a DIY book where you then need to buy a bunch of supplies, this comes with everything you need aside from household staples like glue, tape, paper, scissors, and markers. This book is labeled for 8+ and was perfect for both my 7 and 11 year olds. If you're looking for a great tool to keep the kids engaged in learning all summer, this is a great option!

Perfect Birthday Gift!

My kids loved this kit. There are so many cool things to build with one kit. It appealed to both my son and daughter and kept them busy. It would make a great birthday gift! Good price point for all of the awesome things they can create with one set. I used to love building with popsicle sticks as a kid and this is like a STEM, more advanced version of what I used to enjoy!

Fun Craft Kit!

My kids love this craft stick kit! It's been the perfect mix of science and crafting for our family. The included book is colorful and easy to follow. We have really enjoyed this set as it keeps the kids busy for hours!

Fantastic Kit for Teaching Early Engineering Skills; Very Interactive

This kit is a great supplementary or complimenting science lesson for homeschoolers or remote students; it contains educational lessons in a early elementary school-aged level of reading that is engaging. There are eleven projects with additional ideas provided at the back. The eleven projects are all at different age levels within the early elementary school range; it has puzzles to make with the sticks for very young up to a fully operational Farris wheel for the older age groups. The projects are very fun and explain the concept of energy, force and motion in a fun and interactive way. My children (age 6 and 8) could not wait to start building the projects within this kit. We started with some simpler projects that would not require glue and then eventually moved onto the larger projects (bridge and Farris Wheel). I found the directions very straightforward and I enjoyed having the scientific explanations near as well to add to the experience. Some of the projects include some specific lessons within the project itself, with "think bigger" prompts for your child to think beyond just the one craft or "real world connections" to explain how their craft would operate in the world. You will need the odd item from around the house if you want to do some of the projects, but they are very easy items to find (such as markers, glue, etc.). These projects are great lessons for young students and go beyond just one or two science lessons. I would definitely recommend this kit, especially for homeschool or remote learners. It's a fantastic way to bring the science lab into your house without having to purchase individual materials. However, once you have used all the materials provided, it is very simple to replace them for future projects. These lessons teach your children how to construct functioning projects out of materials you can find around the house. EDIT: I have added photos of more of the projects we have created, as my boys have asked that we make more. The kit comes with enough materials to be able to make several activities within it.

Nice book full of projects

My kids love STEM projects, I picked this up so they could work on some over the summer. The book is full of projects you can do with the materials in teh box. The box comes with decent quality materials, and the projects are easy enough to do with those materials. Some projects my kids needed help with, some they were able to do on their own. My kids are 5 and 8.

Fun learning tool

This is a great learning tool to help teach kids some science projects. I like that it comes with the things you need to make the projects, but also like that it comes with a book that you can keep to make further project in the future just by getting a few craft supplies. I would recommend this for learning new fun crafts that help teach some important engineering principals.
