Still the best
For thirty years I have been using Butler/Sunstar/GUM fine, unwaxed dental floss on the recommendation of my periodontist. He even sold it in his office. The last time I bought it online, one year ago, there was a note that it "sadly was being discontinued." I should have stocked up then, but I didn't believe the note. I have just attempted to reorder and now I realize that it is gone from the market. So this product, GUM Fine Waxed Dental Floss Mint, is the closest thing to it. Actually, if I couldn't see the container, I would not know that this floss is any different than the old one. The wax is very minimal, and the mint is just a hint of fragrance. It is essentially the same reliable product as I have known for decades.

Just As Expected
Works as expected. Nice that it's a fine floss, since it's easier to get in between those teeth that are too close to each other.

For those tight spaces between crowns
New crowns, tighter spaces -- can't use the standard old waxed ribbons or thicker floss. These are thin enough to fit in between those crowns, and minty fresh.

Not thin at all
Compared to colgate total floss (my favorite for tightly spaced teeth), this is not at all thin. In fact it kind of feels like it’s even thicker than ‘regular’ crest floss. Using this was a bit painful, felt like pulling little ropes between my teeth - not sure why other reviews say this floss is thin.

I have struggled with the brand name flosses and their poor dispenser cases for years with great frustration. Finally, a fine floss with a great, easy to use dispenser that does not come apart and actually cuts the floss. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This floss is very thin and it either cuts your gums or breaks. Also, beware, this item is wrongly listed as handled direct by Amazon, this is in fact handled by a third party seller and you have to request an RMA if it doesn’t work for you. Happened to me.

Quality product
I like this dental floss since I have little space between my teeth, but this product is made specifically for this purpose and does not shred. Have been using this product for years and will continue to do so. The spools of this floss have a larger capacity which is great and last longer. Highly recommend this dental product. Bob
