Goodthreads Men's Lightweight Merino Wool Crewneck Sweater

Warm. Comfy. Stretchy. Fit is true to size. In laundering, it attracts any fuzz and stray lint/hair/whatever from other clothes in the wash. (I only wear it when it's cold at home, but if I wore it outdoors, that might require some serious lint brushing time to take care of.) This sweater does not shrink when I placed it in the dryer on normal heat along with other clothes. I expected that it would shrink in size or tighten in weave like other merino wool sweaters do, which was one reason I chose a bigger size. It became mega static-y after being dryered. The color (black) of the sweater did not bleed into other clothes. The sweater's label states "100% merino wool"

For the price and quality, really solid long sleeve shirt.

I don't usually write reviews on clothing but it's hard to find the right clothing items that make you truly happy you bought them. I'm 6' 1", 218lbs, good shape and good amount of mass (I stay fit for the most part). XL was a bit too loose and wider in the stomach area. I prefer the large because: 1. Snug athletic fit on the arms and chest, but it's merino wool so it stretches comfortably 2. It sits past the waist and is a good length to not ride up when leaning over or sitting down so it's the perfect length (but if you like it longer go XL) 3. Merino wool can get pricey, for the quality of these shirts it's a good price (I have some that are in the $60-$70 range) 4. It's thin enough to wear most of the year comfortably (all depends on your region but that's what layers are for) 5. I like a tight fit that still stretches comfortably (stretchy jeans for example), these look good and feel really good Overall, great value for the quality. Do not dry it in the dryer unless it's a very low heat setting. I would still just air dry them to ensure you don't shrink them because they will shrink a good amount in dryer heat. Feels Great

This is a nice sweater and enjoy wearing it........but had to do a little repair work when a seam started to come apart. I still like it.

i wear it at home office (work from home) and feels great for that purpose. it is a little loose so may not be the best for layering.

Really wool

I ordered large tall to wear as a tunic style. I am a size 6. Minimum shrinkage. Very pleased.

Nice Sweater, All Merino Wool

Great light weight sweater, good fit, excellent fabric and the cost was very fair. One point off for softness because it is not cashmere.

Consider a size down

I usually take a 3X, but this was just too large, with cartoonishly long sleeves. Reordered in XXL which is a perfect fit. Very soft and super attractive, and the perfect weight to wear on its own.

Nice sweater at a ridiculously low price. Fits very well. I've worn one around the house daily for several months during the cold weather, and it is now starting to "pill" slightly. Can't complain really. I ordered another one to wear on more formal occasions.

Lovely light weight pullover. 5 stars if had been sold for Summer wear.

Well made & appears to be good quality. Very light weight so not really warm, but will be ideal for a Summer evening although the high neckline would not be required. Being so lightweight I was concerned that it might tear but after wearing for a week as an under layer it is surviving well. Not washed yet, but no problems anticipated. It would be good if the manufacturer sold a similar but thicker pullover more suitable for our Northern hemisphere winter. Called a sweatshirt, but not by any stretch of the imagination Further report. I have been away from my home, in lockdown staying with family. I am pleased to report that after wearing this pullover daily for over a month it has not shown any signs of damage or excess wear. It has pilled, but only slightly. Because not at home it has not been washed yet. One can buy with confidence.

Odd textured V shape just below centre of crewneck

These jumpers have a small triangle of different textured knit below the centre of the crewneck. It's not visible on the photos in the listing but is referenced in the description as "knit dorito design at front neck". My mistake but I would not buy again as it just looks odd.

Totally inconsistent sizes

I previously bought a grey one of these jumpers and it was perfect, so I bought another; same size, different colour. I could get 2 of me in it! It's huge, the sleeves are 6cm longer and the under-arm 3cm bigger than the 1st one. I don't think I'll be buying another.

washes well.

Great for husband who has a long back and finds it hard to get a sweater long enough. Lovely and soft to wear and washes well. This is the 2nd one of this make and size we've purchased.

Do not buy it..

Covered in bobbles of wool in just a few hours. Returned it for refund. The refund was the best part.
