double check size before you order

Loved the jacket, however when it arrived it was too small so am returning it and getting an extra large. As several other reviewers had indicated, the sizing is nowhere near what you'd expect if you've purchased other dog coats/jackets. I have a 17 Lb Cavachon and the large came about two thirds of the way down his back but it was really snug around his chest when I tried to close the Velcro. Jacket is super cute and I was really looking for a jacket that would keep the snow from balling up on his chest and between front legs. This will serve that purpose well, once I get the correct size. It appears to be well made looks great on him.

The BEST piece of clothing I've ever bought for my dog

The BEST piece of clothing I've ever bought for my dog. It's very stylish, not just "cute". But its #1 selling point? The fact that when my dog pees, it doesn't contaminate the bottom of the jacket, because it's cut short and away from the pee stream. Yay! Finally! No more dealing with pee-stained, foul-smelling dog apparel. I should also mention that the ring for the leash clip is outside at the top of the jacket, near the neck, which makes it super convenient to attach the leash and go. Sizing: my dog is a 12.5-lb Havanese, and size Medium fit perfectly.

Got this yesterday for my 15-lb Chihuahua/Poodle mix and I'm very happy with it. I like the thick material, water-proof outer layer and fleece inner layer. Feels pretty soft and warm. It fits perfectly. Plus, he looks really cool in it. LOL. The only thing I fear is the leash hook area. I'm not sure how strong it is in case my pooch pulls during walks. I hope it won't rip off after a few walks. Just have to keep my fingers crossed. Will update on this when I walk him a few times in it.

Gooby products are excellent

I am completely sold on Gooby products. They are easy to get off and on and the o-ring makes a quick outing so easy.They are incredibly well-made.I have 2 fleece tops, a vest , and this jacket. All are so perfect for different types of weather. I do have some trouble with figuring out the sizing for my little Chihuahua mix but the company has a very easy , free return policy.

Good concept, poor execution.

I bought two of these jackets for my dogs. THE BAD: The elastic waist string came loose from the lining on both jackets, nullifying the purpose of the draw string. I followed the measurements per ordering page - the medium jacket fits my 10 lb. Rat Terrier like a glove, the other extra large jacket is very loose fitting on my 20 lb. Rat Terrier. Water does not bead up on the jackets as shown on the ordering page, but soaks into the fabric - water proof, not likely. THE GOOD: If you can deal with the negative aspects of this jacket, it solves the problem of hitching your dog to a leash with a jacket on. The jackets make getting my dogs ready to go for a walk very easy - no harness or collar, just attach the Velcro contacts in 3 places, hook up the leash and out the door.

perfect fit, keeps him warm

This has been *perfect* for our 8 lb. Shih-Tzu pup, perfect fit, keeps him warm, velcro's very securely but not so much that it's difficult to get on and off of him. Good quality, size, fit - everything. And I love that there is an anchor loop on the coat itself so we don't have to try to feed the leash through a small hold to his harness. The coat meets all needs.

We bought this for our Boston after measuring him and it fits perfect (snug). We use it on cold winter days when he doesn't want to go outside. I like not have to have a seperate harness when using this.

Nice jacket

The jacket is warm and fits my dog well. I worry about the velcro closings under the dogs belly. Have to be very careful not to get her hair caught. Would be better with straps that anchored with velcro on the quilted fabric.

Ni que hablar la calidad de la tela, los remates de los bordados y el velcro que tiene para cerrar es excelente no se le anda abriendo ni nada el chaleco ademas de que es confortable para mi mascota. El precio lo vale pero mas cuando lo logras encontrar en promocion claro que lo recomiendo.
