Quality socks but weird sizing
Gold toe has never disappointed…this is more FYI. I first ordered the extended size (12-16) pair on accident. I processed a return and ordered the pair I meant to…size 6-12 1/2 and the over the calf length. They arrived today and it appears to me that the distance from the toe to the heel between the two sizes is identical. And even though I ordered them from the same Amazon item page (I just selected the size I meant to order), the colors were slightly different. Not enough to be an issue. Just FYI.

Excellent product, a little stingy in size
I am not an enormous guy at 6 feet tall, size 11.5 shoe. But I do have muscular legs. These fit my feet comfortably without binding. These are also plenty LONG enough to reach the bottom of my knee caps, but not quite wide enough at the cuff to be comfortable around my calf. They DO have a long cuff, meaning the vertical cuff stitching is about five inches tall, which is nice for avoiding those rings around the legs, bot that is just because they spread the tightness over a wider area. At the end of the day they left me itchy as a result. I wound up snapping the retainer band (the one line of thread around the very top hem that limits total stretch) and that makes them comfortable enough but if you are a thick legged guy I would not advise them as a good purchase.

Great Dress Socks
Got two packs of these. (6 socks). Really happy with the way they look and the way they stay up. These are thin dress socks, not athletic or sweat socks. I wouldn’t wear them for anything other than going out or non physical activities. They fit very snug at the top, just below the knee but don’t pinch or feel uncomfortable. These socks are not going to droop or slide down, trust me.

Good quality socks
I've worn Gold Toe socks for decades because of the consistent high quality, comfort, and sturdiness. This 3 pair combo provides a variety of patterns, all in navy. The only minor nuisance is that the socks seem to stretch more than previous pairs, allowing them to extend beyond "over the calf".

Hard to find light-colored over-the-calf dress socks
Thank you GOLD TOE, I love this product. But the LIGHTER colors in OTC are so hard to find; virtually non-existent in department stores. These go nicely with my light khakis, and also important: stay taut on the calf without sliding down. My only wish is they were more widely available in stores in the lighter shades (patterns are fine.) So I really stocked up this time!
