I ordered 1 4 pack of these to tie in with the 6" GLOBE recessed lighting. I honestly don't think it could have been much easier to install these since I already had wiring existing for my old soffit lighting fixtures. They are easy to install if you do some prep ahead of time off the ladder. You will need to buy the 1/2" threaded cable clamps to put in the junction boxes these have. There is a screw connection in the pigtail between the light fixture and the junction box, making it easier to just install the junction box first and go up a second time to put the light in (if you're 20 feet in the air, this isn't a bad idea). they work well with the Top Greener TFT01-H in-wall digital light timer switch! I am looking forward to our exterior illumination with these lights, they are nice and bright and pop on immediately.

What we were looking for!!!
Needed recessed lights for our Tiny House (only have 3 inch between ceiling and roof) and these were just what we needed!!!!! Had to saw out a couple of small piece ceiling wood to fix box due to our support beams and painted the trim piece to match our rustic theme. I put the dimming sheets from Amazon to make the lighting a softer light. After we figured out we would need to cut wood for corners of box, install was very easy.

Great! Even better on a dimmer!!
These are fantastic! Barely bigger than a hockey puck. I installed them in my soffit and now they light up my deck perfectly. I also used them in my soffit over top of a walkway we have that goes along the side of the house. These are very bright and I put both sets of lights on a dimmer switch. The dimmer makes all the difference. Easy to wire up, good warranty, rated for damp areas, and easy to install. My soffit is about an eighth of an inch thick, and the springs hold plenty of pressure to hold the lights in the hole, and they aren't so heavy that they make it sag down.

Simplified installation
Very neat when installed. Didn't need the swivel feature the light cone dispersion was sufficient. Put eight in the 12x12 kitchen ceiling where four would have managed, to replace two T40 4-foot fluorescents. This allows for super brightness for occasional tasks and also for the potential degradation of brightness with age. Usually keep the dimmer close to low. Installation only requires the supplied boxes to be daisy chained using standard 14-2 residential wire. The box comes with cable and plug to attach the fixture prior to pushing it up into the hole in the ceiling.

These are super easy to install and wow are they bright. I put 6 in my kitchen and it lights it up like daylight. May install a dimmer switch just to tone it down when I am not wanting to be fully awake just before bed. I would definitely buy these again. If you can feed a wire and can cut a 4" hole, then you can install these in a few minutes. The plug in connectors make the electrical connection very easy too, just remember to shut off the electricity before you start.

Excellent quality lights. THe light quality (color temperature) is very pleasant and the light quality is ample (for many people, more technical engineering data on light color temperature and lumens would be helpful; for other people, perhaps words like pleasant and and ample suffice). These can be obtained other ways, hwoever. For me the best part is the extraordinary flexiblity these lights give you in locating them in restricted spaces because of their relatively flat profile. Also, the vendor's customer service is excellent.

Efficient & Good-looking
I had these installed as part of a renovation. My living room looks so much better now. Two light the built-in bookshelves, two light the seating area and I have one of them angled to hit my reading chair just right. My contractor said they’re so efficient, I can leave them on for safety. It’s nice that they are dimmable too.
