...for cooking smaller stuff in the 8-inch non-stick. Stuff like eggs and...mostly eggs.

Wow perfect spatula!

I'm in love with this medium sized silicon spatula! It held up fantastic for long time, very easy to clean and heat resistant. I will definitely be repurchasing only this one going forward. I used it for pancakes and flipping fish, and just general stirring. Very nice product!

Very handy, small size perfect, but cleaning...

Does what I wanted perfectly - small enough for small pan for saute or eggs, with flexible last 1/2" to bend and get under things but sturdy enough that handle doesn't flop around. But, very disappointed with cleaning - water spots everywhere. I have other black silicone and they don't have water spots and it's a new dishwasher from a year ago with the rinse aid used - top rack and middle rack same results. And yes they wipe off easily, but it's just annoying.

Slips under fried eggs exceptionally well

The spatula does a terrific job in getting under eggs. It’s amazing how easy it is to lift them up. However, eggs and pancakes can sometimes slip off the top surface, and I sometimes get a rubber/silicone smell from the spatula. The first one I got from Amazon had a defect in the handle and the silicone cracked and broke immediately. It’s pretty good but not my favorite.

Small but Mighty

A simple tool well made. I like red accents in kitchen but this red is just TOO RED. Looks like an emergency spatula. Wish I had gotten another color. But a great spatula. Could be thinner but it is angled nicely for lift. At first you may think it's a bit too small, then be thankful it is petit. If you want a normal size look for the larger version of this mini one. But this is a very good all-purpose size surprisingly.

Good for managing small things in a pan

But it is not very good for large things that don't have structure, such as double-eggs. The floppiness will and slipperiness of the silicone prevent easy turning of larger items.

GIR gets it right! Now my go to flipper/spatula

the sturdy internal skeleton that flexes (but doesn’t bend) when pressing down food. Silicone can be super slippery, especially with eggs, but just takes some skill. The form am overall pliability makes it smoothly work around the edges of a pan, pot, or jar to completely scrape food out. Bought the smaller spatula and considering purchasing the larger one as well.

GIRrreat flipper...

I was happy with this spatula. Bought it for my non stick. Previous ones were plastic of sorts and always scratched the non stick surface. This one is silicone and super soft yet firm and one piece. The size of the flat flipper is just a little smaller than a large cracked egg, and also it's not super thin, maybe 2-3mm, so flipping an over easy takes a few tries to get it right. But again, I'm very happy with the quality silicone and compact size. I was looking for this when i bought mine so here's the head dimensions: not perfectly rectangular so... longest width - 2.5 inches longest length - 3.5 inches The angle of the spatula end is about 20 degrees up from the plane of the handle.

It's a bit small

I love it, and use it for all my cooking it's like it was brand new after months of use... The only thing that might be troublesome is that if you want to flip big things like multiple eggs combined this might not be a big enough spatula to do that effectively.

Great tool

I am fairly clumsy so scratching non stick pots is really common before I discovered the GIR line of tools. This flipper works really well and no more scratched pans
