Beautiful Dishes, Even Better Customer Service

So I had been looking for a dinnerware set that was my exact simplistic style, but also had deep/wide pasta bowls. This set is perfect. Plates with upturned edges, generous cereal bowls, and an even more generous pasta bowl, with clean white ceramic that match perfectly with other white ceramic dishes I have bought to supplement what’s not in this set, like side dish/dessert bowls. The dishes are sturdy, weighted, smooth, and they’re even more satisfying to see in person. Upon receiving my package, the dishes were very well protected. Unfortunately, during my unboxing, I discovered a chipped dinner plate. I’m confident it did not occur in transit, as the dish would’ve been broken or other dishes, affected. Amazon wanted me to return the full set for a replacement and I didn’t want the burden of repacking these precariously packed dishes like Tetris back into its box all over one plate or risk a different issue with the new set. I also couldn’t just ignore a chipped plate in a brand new set. So, I contacted Gibson directly. The customer service there is absolutely amazing. After asking for various details and proof, the company sent me a replacement plate with absolutely no hassle! Now I don’t have to stress that I had three good dinner plates but four of everything else. If you like the set, buy it! You won’t regret it. And if you have an issue with the order, I’m sure Gibson will assist you with no problem if you do not resolve through Amazon.

attractive, everyday dish set

I really like the design, clean lines & sturdiness of these dishes. I chose white. They can be used for everyday use as well as for a formal table. The raised border of the dinner dishes helps to prevent food from slipping off the sides ... like tomato sauce. Large salad/soup bowls are a bonus. They arrived promptly & seemingly well packaged. Unfortunately, one of the dinner dishes arrived with a large chip on the side. Not worth returning the entire set (I actually bought 2 sets).

Buying another set

Love this set! Everything came in perfect condition, plates are a lot nicer & heavier than I thought. Feels luxury. I will be buying another set for when I have company over I have enough plates

Chipped plate

One of the plates came chipped in the corner. I am not gonna return them, the rest are good and i needed to use them right when they arrived, and not gonna return a used product. But overall good product.

In love

I’m in love with these dishes. Such amazing quality, dishwasher & microwave safe, SUCH A CUTE modern design. And the wide, shorter-rimmed bowl is the best. The big plates’ surface area is AWESOME. The edge allows for food to not drip. The flatness allows for your SAUCES TO NOT RUN INTO YOUR OTHER FOOD not to the center. I have only positive things to say. Buy these!!!

Exceed my expectation

This set is really good quality I was kinda hesitant to buy this set cause I read some reviews and some received their plates broken to pieces. But I bit the bullet and just purchased it. I'm even got surprised by the quality when it arrived its a really good quality set and I love how it looks so modern, clean looking.

Imperfections

The dishes are great except for two pieces I received with imperfections. I'd like two get the pasta bowl and dinner plate replaced. I emailed the company but haven't heard back.

Love this dish set

I was looking high and low for a nice dishware set with the right shape of plates and bowls, and I'm so happy I found these! They have a nice weight to them and look fantastic - the only small complaint I can make is that there were a couple of imperfections on a couple of the pieces where there were black dots showing. Other than that, no issues whatsoever!

Not good quality

They say you get what you pay for. Bought 2 of these to replace my old dinnerware. Each plate and bowl has a dimple/bump in the middle of the dish. Some areas around the plate rims are rough so not properly vitrified. The description state that they are lightweight, they are not. They are closer to ceramic than fine porcelain. I might be biased as I am replacing bone china that I use every day which is quite lightweight and fine. I am returning both sets.

Very well made and look great.

Would buy these again and recommend them. Bowl look small but can hold a very large amount of cereal. Side plates a bit small however fit a bagel or english muffin and for salads the pasta plates are the perfect size.

Super happy with these!

I was super nervous about them coming chipped and not being quite what I wanted but they’re perfect! Sturdy quality, the exact shape I was looking for and no chips. Way happier with this than I thought I’d be!

Gorgeous set!

These finally came in the mail yesterday and they are absolutely beautiful, honestly better than I thought! . I’m so glad I bit the bullet.. and truly it’s such a great price for the quality. They are quite heavy (don’t feel or appear cheap), and I would say are comparable to the brand our place which sells the same style bowls and plates for a higher price. I haven’t used them yet but I’m so excited . Not a single chip was noted upon delivery, they are in great condition and I love the colour and gloss on them. They look more more expensive then they are. I highly recommend this set if you are on the fence. Treat yourself !!!
