Not what I expected

I have a small area to install this in. Between a window and a door jam. So, the size is perfect. I was hoping for something I could leave unlocked so the mail carrier could use it as needed. The door won't stay closed unless it's locked. I'll have to try to magnetize it somehow. I haven't installed it yet because you know, winter, but I will post an update if something changes. It does look nice though, and it is as advertised.

Pros: stainless steele Cons: unfinished sharp edges. RETURNED

Size and material where what we were seeking. Regrettable this is designed to be used by human hands so we are baffled by the quality and inferior craftsmanship of the sharp unfinished edges.

Too small and the key is hard to get in after it rained

Poor quality control, flawed design.

Mailbox came scratched up and featured a small dent. The locking mechanism is pointless since you can just grab the mail from the letter opening. It's a nice finish (minus the scratches) and is a smaller size than your average mailbox. I wouldn't say it's water resistant either, it has 2 small holes in the bottom from creases from the metal.
