Fresh air on demand

This filter works as advertised and will help eliminate dust and will eliminate orders from your home in the desired room to be removed. This filter will last for 6 months or more depending upon your use. The price is reasonable and I opened the filters compartment and used my dust brush on my vacuum cleaner and vacuumed and cleaned the filter of the accumulated dirt and dust to extend the life of the filter. The charcoal filter eliminates the smell out of the air just to let you know.

Great set of filters

It's night and day when the filters are brand new versus gunked up. We have a menagerie of fuzzy children and these filters have made a drastic difference for my husband's asthma. Super easy to install. We used a different type of filter for the same machine and it was ok, but if you have pets, we recommend this type. It's definitely made a difference

These filters help so much in my apartment. I have 3 chinchillas and they shed like crazy. I use these filters in my Germ Guardian Air Purifier next to their cages and it’s helps catch the fur and it helps with the smell of their hay they eat! I now have the comfort of knowing the air in my apartment is cleaner and smells fresher thanks to this filter.

Great product. Easy to install and great price. We have used several different varieties of these and prefer the pet one. We only have 1 cat but she produces alot of dander. It's great for everyday smells as well and keeps the room fresh!

Works as intended

These work as intended, but I think they are too expensive for filters that need replacement every 6 months

Expensive to replace, but it's money well spent

I bought the GermGuardian Air Purifier in anticipation of adopting a cat. I have it running on low all day, every day - so I've had to change the filter sooner than the estimated 6 months. In my case, I usually have to change it after 4 or 5 months and I've been using the GermGuardian for 2 years now. My husband and I have allergies to dust and dander, so this filter has helped tremendously in keeping that under control. I also love to cook, so when I'm making a particularly aromatic dish, I turn my air purifier on the highest setting while cracking the window open slightly. Yes, the replacement filters are expensive, but it's a small price to pay for cleaner, fresher smelling air. The difference in air quality is noticeable when you contrast the moment the 'change the filter' indicator comes on, to the hour after replacing it with a new one. To put it into perspective as to how many impurities have been captured by the filter, have a look at the comparison photo of an old vs new filter (the old, dirty filter is bagged in plastic as to not allow the dust to escape). It's alarming to know what we would be breathing in without the use of this air purifier filter.

It seems to be doing the job but it is for sure thinner than the one that the device came in with! when you pay 40 box for a hepa filter which is basically bunch of dense papers you would expect a higher quality product.

I would buy again.

This product lost a star not because I have issues with product at all. its fine, but its expensive. Other knock off brands will probably be my go to first.

A really good upgrade!

I used the the regular standard yellow filters for a while and they where great until I used this. This makes the air SUPER clean and fresh its basically like being outside. I highly recommend it
