A LOT of light for your $!
Bought these bulbs to help some of my orchids and house plants that were just not getting enough light. What I wasn’t expecting is how bright these really are! Like holy smokes that’s a bright bulb, in a good way. One of my sad alocasias perked up within a couple of hours and my oncidium that didn’t look super hot perked up quickly as well! It’s a bright and clean white light that I really love and It shows off plant color beautifully. Will be purchasing more and I’d highly recommend them for anyone with house plants or orchids! Overall: Fantastic bulb for the price, great color of light, gives off enough energy to perk the picky plants up and they don’t run hot.

Fantastic!
These bulbs are fantastic! Great color not harsh on eyes and my fiddle leaf fig focus is loving it so that says a lot!! Would definitely recommend purchasing to anyone needing light for plants indoor. Only giving four stars on longevity bc I haven’t owned them but a few months.

VERY GOOD
COVERAGE IS VERY GOOD. TWO BR30 BULBS MORE THAN ADEQUATELY COVER AN 18 X48 SHELF. FOR EACH LEVEL I AM USING TWO BULBS. THE PAR VALUE IS HIGHER FOR THESE THAN THE FEIT BR30 BULBS. BECAUSE OF THE PAR VALUE DIFFERENCE THE GE BRAND IS NOW MY PREFERENCE.

Excellent grow light! Price has doubled, though.
I don’t know what I’m doing but am trying to learn plants. This light made my monstera very happy. I bought it when it was seven forty one in price. The 5 star review is built partially off of what I paid for it. It has since doubled unless you buy multiple bulbs. I’m not sure I’d pay the new price as it’s pretty steep and there are a LOT of wonderfully reviewed bulbs for less.

So Much Power for the Price
Love these bulbs. They're so bright (photo w/lamp on vrs lamp off - no flash) and even placed 18'' away my tropical plants that need "bright, indirect" lighting are growing better than they did sitting within 8'' of my west window. It's the middle of winter and my Begonia are starting to bloom again under these lights. You actually have to be careful not to sunburn your plants; I've singed the tips on a few, LOL. My favorite thing is that they're white light to the eye so they don't distort the view of your plants. Most strips of LED grow lights you have to replace the entire strip when one dies, and most are not sold in single strips, this makes replacing them expensive. These are light any house bulb, put it in any standard screw in bulb fixture and replace the bulb easily when one dies. The only thing is since these bulbs are rather long, you can't cram them up underneath shelves of a mini greenhouse. I have mine in a gooseneck fixture on the side outside of my green house with them tilted to shine inside from the side (see last photo). To put them inside my greenhouse I would have to remove a shelf or 2 to double the height clearance between shelves. A single light hung in the middle above a shelf would cast light over an entire 3 foot long shelf however. Great bulbs for ceiling light fixtures in a plant room or standing lamp fixtures to cast light around to big plants standing throughout a room. I may get slightly weaker screw in bulbs for hanging up inside of my greenhouse, again since I've burned plants with these GE ones, and then move these bulbs to my ceiling fan in the plant room.

keeps my herb planter with sufficient light even in cloudy weather
I bought this on sale so was pleased with the price given the alternative products. I put it in the ceiling pot light fixture above my corner sink area. I have a tower herb planter in that dead triangle space between the 2 corner windows., but in winter not even windows on 2 sides is enough light & the top level doesn't get any natural light at all as it's about the windows. This was the perfect solution. I've had strip plant lights before but this is the first single bulb I've tried. My top level herbs love it & have gotten greener & thicker the longer I've had this light bulb. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Very beam focussed
I changed my old review bc I think I got a defective bulb out of the box (used!) not new, so not the fault of GE necessarily. I tried the other bulbs the box and noticed a dramatic improvement. Odd thing, the bulb that didn't grow stuff still lit up.

Too costly 4 times the market price
The product is good. Works well. But the price is 4 times the market price. it's imported from US. But the price the seller is selling is too much. We get the same product in other website for less price. I recommend to avoid this product from these sellers.

My mini roses just love it!
my roses jusy love it. last week it seems that they are going to die, leaves are starting to get yellow. The flowers start to dry up, now they are very healthy.

Solid affordable choice
I can’t tell if it does anything but I feel more confident that I have them for my plants so that’s good! I like that they can screw into any lamp you have so that’s pretty nice!

Compared to Others on the market…
Maybe I am not impressed because I’ve had better grow bulbs before trying this particular one, but not impressed. Haven’t noticed a difference with my Plant, which has been placed very close to the plant.
