Warm

My hubby loves these, second order put in. They wash great I put them in medium cycle in the dryer. He loves to layer them. Good quality. Received them quicker than expected. Will order 3rd set.

Better than polyester

Seems to me that the cotton or cotton blended with polyester is warmer and more comfortable than the 100% polyester thermals. These are the ones I prefer.

Does the Job But Flimsier, More Expensive

I'm an old fashioned kind of guy. Being a senior living on a pension, I prefer the kind of clothing I grew up with over the modern, stylish offerings to be had these days. I also prefer to keep my house cooler in winter to cut down on heating bills. I've bought FotL thermal shirts for decades and it's sad to see how they, like most things, have gotten flimsier yet more expensive as time has gone by. This latest offering is definitely thinner and not as warm as before. Instead of a tag on the back of the neck, they now stamp the information in red ink directly on the neck back. That wouldn't bother me so much except that the information is gone after a few washes. Worse, either the ink or the process to stamp the ink degrades the material it's stamped on. After just a few washes, the material disintegrates and leaves a hole in the material back there. The material in the armpit also degrades very quickly. Planned obsolescence strikes again. Just once, I would like to convince a marketing executive that people like me would willingly pay more to keep quality as before. Paying more for poorer quality may help a company's bottom line, but it tarnishes the brand name in the public's eye.

Very thin, lacking warmth

I want to say it's better than using a regular t-shirt as a layer but it ain't much of an upgrade if you really need more warmth than a lightweight. Aside from that it's just kind of tight. Ordered the Mediums but had to check the tag to see if I got Smalls since it felt like a kid's shirt. Not sure if I'd recommend it.

If you are a man that usually wears a size medium mercury or at least a size large.

Way too small for a man’s medium structure. Thickness and stretch was OK.

Not warm for cold damp weather as very thin material. ☹️

Bought as Christmas gift for a friend. Description of shirt states medium weight. NOT! Very light weight.

Terrible quality

Very thin, scratchy material. Bought as sleepwear for my son and it was terribly small even sizing up. Would not recommend at all.

Does Shrink A bit But Overall Good

It is a decent and comfortable base layer and is quite warm and does the job well. I ordered a size up and even after the shrink (which was minor) it is a bit loose but not so much so that is looks bad or feels uncomfortable. I usually buy M but I went with L and the fit is as described. I am 75Kg and 5'10", hope this helps.

Keeping the heat in.

The fruit of the loom are a bit on the large side. Advice anyone to go down one size or put them in washing machine & let them shrink. All that aside, The Fruit of the Loom are very warm & certainly keep the heat in. All likes so far, no dislikes.
