Saved my Oven!
Instead of buying a new oven, i bought a replacement computer to prolong the use of my current oven/stove. Works great and I saved money and time by installing it myself. Easier than you think.

Perfect fit for my 15 year old range
Perfect fit for my 15 year old range. Just be sure to buy the face plate. The color is white and not almond but you can't beat the price. It's really easy to change out as long as you change one plug in at a time.

Work Great!
Yeah! I have my oven back! Super fast delivery and took hubby 15-20 min to install and get my stove back in place. ???? Be sure and buy a face plate too, as the old one is glued to the old controller, and they don't come apart with out the paint coming off too.

Worked Like A Charm!
Was skeptical that this part would in fact fix my oven issue (oven would overheat and then display F1 error screen). At first I thought it was the temperature sensor but after testing it with a multimeter it showed that it was fine so it was most likely going to be the control board. Contemplated on buying a new stove and scrapping this Frigidaire oven but it still worked great prior to this issue. After researching a bit further the issue I bit the bullet and I'm glad I did. The replacement of this unit was extremely easy and took me less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Turned on the oven, threw in a pizza and it worked like a charm!

OEM replacement but only lasted 5wks
Purchased on Amazon this Frigidaire 318184400 Oven Control Board as an OEM replacement for original control board after the bake element relay failed. Saved the original faceplate to reduce cost. Control board arrived quickly (shipped from Amre), well packaged, installed easily as an OEM replacement and worked fine for 5 weeks. Then woke up one morning and noticed display was not lit and none of the buttons worked. My local Amre Supply was very understanding and exchanged it for another one they ordered in from their inventory elsewhere in Ontario and I was able to pick up that replacement in 2 days. Great service! But, the rep commented that was the second one he had exchanged within a week and the other customer described a similar experience where the part worked for several weeks and then just died. The exchanged part has been working fine for the last 2 weeks (fingers crossed).

Thank goodness...
I'm glad I finally was brave enough to purchase this unit. It took me a year, after my mother's oven stopped working, to decide between purchasing a new Range or fix it. While the price of the unit increased substantially from the first time I placed it in the Amazon Cart to finally proceeding to the "Check Out" a year later. I now have no regrets in deciding to bite the bullet. I purchased it, and replaced the burnt out oven control board myself. After a little over a year, my mother's oven is now working, and within the first day, she was baking again. Yay.
