Not really a relaxed cut

Since the title stated this was a relaxed cut, I ordered my usual medium size. But the cut of the shirt combined with the fabric makes the shirt more fitted through the waist than I was expecting. I really like the shirt other than that, so maybe when I lose a few pounds I will feel comfortable to wear it in public.

I guess "relaxed" means boxy...

I like this shirt - the fabric has a nice, soft feel to it and it's nice and lightweight for the summer, but it's a little boxy for me. The cut is probably better for bigger ladies. I will definitely wear this for things like yard work, but when I'm meeting people I'll go with a more fitted shirt.

I don't know what pickleball is, but the shirt is great!

I am always on the lookout for athletic-type polo shirts. Though I am definitely not an athlete, I have horses and donkeys and work outside with them a lot when it's nice out. I like that polo shirts have the utility of a t-shirt but look so much nicer. I have a feeling that this shirt will be one of my go-to shirts when it warms up some here. I got my usual size (M) and it fits well. Maybe a teensy bit snug but I was wearing an undershirt when I tried it on, so without that I think it'll be perfect. It clings just enough to give some shape but not so much it's awkward. The fabric is stretchy and a really nice weight. Both those qualities make it really comfortable to wear. I didn't expect to like the color, as I'm not a fan of black/pink combos, but the way they're combined with gray, it looks really sharp. When I tried it on I felt like I should be a professional golfer out on a green wearing a visor or something. (Please note, I golfed once and was astoundingly terrible.) The pickleball part is a bit noticeable but it's not like my donkeys are going to care. I kinda think it's funny. If anyone asks me about it I'll make up something entertaining. So I feel like that's actually a win. I'll change my review if I have any trouble as time goes on and the shirt gets worn and laundered. In the meantime, if you are thinking about buying this shirt and don't mind the pickleball thing (or maybe you really are a pickleball player--hey, you do you!)-- Go for it!

So stretchy, so comfy

I like sporty material shirts because they're fast drying and stretchy. I don't play pickleball but I decided to get this shirt anyway because the heathered color is a favorite design of mine and frankly this shirt looked super comfy. Happy with this purchase! I didn't expect this shirt to be as stretchy as it is but I am super happy it is! It's definitely got the 4-way stretch like the product description states and the shirt in real life looks exactly like the product photo. I like that it has a few buttons on the front because it makes it easier to pull over my head (especially when I have my hair in a bun or something). The shirt material feels somewhere between light-to-medium weight sporty shirt material. The collar holds its shape well and the buttons feel secure. The arms are a little long for my taste but that's probably because I'm short (5'1"). The shirt is also a little long for my taste but again it's because I'm short so I expected it. Overall happy with this purchase and would buy this shirt again (hopefully they get more colors).

If Not For the "Pickleball" Label (4- Stars)

I would love this Franklin Sports polo shirt if not for the "pickleball" label underneath the Franklin logo on the front. I had hoped to use this for tennis, but that label means that I won't. But, even if I did play pickleball, that label on the front would curtail how often and when I wear it. Why Franklin would limit the use of its shirt is beyond me since it cuts off part of its potential customers. The shirt itself is nice, although I wouldn't call it "relaxed cut" -- it's just not body-hugging. I find it to be a flattering cut, and it fits true to size. The dri-fit material dries quickly, and it's so lightweight that it doesn't impede movement. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I didn't know about this shirt at first, but the moment I put it on I was sold. This is the stretchiest shirt I've tried on. It is so comfortable! I even like the pattern in the shirt, which has purple, gray, and black. I guess I better find a pickleball game somewhere!

A well made, nice looking, classy woman’s shirt

My wife and I have gotten this Franklin Sports Women's Relaxed Cut only to be completely thrilled by it. I had the chance to get this Franklin shirt and I grabbed it, having had a past great experience with a Franklin Pickleball bag, so thinking that quality might be found here as well, I took the chance, and come away thrilled. I was also able to get a similar men’s version. My wife and I have well noted over the years that often men’s shirts are far better made and with better materials than women’s. In the case of this Franklin Sports Women's Relaxed Cut both shirts are of what appears to be the same material, craftsmanship, and overall quality - a thrill for us both. Sure enough, this shirt is excellent and thrilled my wife. The color is great - the mix of colors pop and bring a great look - she thinks it’s an outstanding look. As mentioned, the materials are great, soft, and feel great, with excellent workmanship in creating the shirt. My wife (with my wife’s permission and direction) was not sure in getting it, how it would fit - the only option available to us was a medium and she’s not in that size at present. Putting the shirt on weren’t we thrilled to find that she is nearly there in fit - so take that into account. She did not think she was small enough to fit in, and while it is “tight,” it’s actually not that far off her size - and she would not normally get this size at present (following a broken foot and being off full weight for 4+ months and recovery, she went up a full size) so that she is nearly nicely into this size, consider adjusting. But, the cut on this Franklin Sports Women's Relaxed Cut is so flattering she looks beautiful - fantastic - and as if the cut were made just for her. It’s a great shirt and because of how pleasantly surprised we are, and how impressed we are becoming with the Franklin brand, we have already added it to our Buy Again list.
