Thin but nice...

These are some pretty solid hinges. I don't like the mortise hinges for smaller projects. It takes too long and must be perfect. If you are doing simple wood projects with a simple door, then these work fine. I am a little worried that these hinges are a little flimsy, but only time will tell.

Strong closure ability

I got these as an alternative to drilling out a pocket in my cabinet doors for European hinges, and let me tell you, these hinges are strong! The ability to keep pressure on doors in a closed position amazed me. I pulled and pushed on the hinges by hand and was unable to affect their position until I placed one end on a hard surface and pushed it closed and it closed on my finger, and I needed a screw driver to pry it open to release my finger! Then, I attached these on cabinet doors for a 42 inch wall cabinet, starting off with two hinges, thinking I may not need a third hinge. Certainly didn't need a third hinge with their powerful closure ability. So easy to just screw in the accompanying screws that were included. Just placed in desired location and power screw in the screws. Course threaded screws, no pre-drilling needed, if preferred.

Durability and Consistency for the Win

I got this 10-pack of hinges for my husband, who is an amateur wood-worker. He has been refining his use of hinges in building various items for home use. A 10-pack is a great deal, and he was delighted to find that they are well-built, each of them is uniform in size and shape, and they're easy to work with. He won't actually be using them for a month or two, but our initial impression is very positive. I will update this review when he's able to actually use them.

Surprisingly decent!

I didn't know what to expect from these since I'm used to the usual, European-style hinges that you have to route out holes in your cabinet doors for. I figured hinges this simple would have to be terrible, right? I'm very happy to say that these work very well. I'll have to rethink my design choices in the future to accommodate this style of hinge cause they are EASY to install, which is a welcome change. I'm not used to saying, "Okay, time to install a hinge. Let me get my driver... Alright. Done."

Very nice hinges

These are great surface mount 90-degree hinges. I will use them on tool cabinets, for doors on the cabinets. The door side of the hinge is marked "door", to make things easy. Easy to install, smooth operation, good hold. The product performed as expected for me and I think these will be useful for a great many different projects in my garage. Overall, I am happy with this product and can recommend it to others looking for similar hinges. Seems to be a good value for the price!

High Quality, Strong Spring, Likely to Last

Cabinet hinges are easy to take for granted. Yet, when they go bad, problems arise. I have an older house with a number of hinges requiring repair or replacement. These hinges work well, with strong spring capacity and high-quality craftmanship. I've used Franklin metal products for many years and have found them to be excellent. This product is no exception.
