Nice Glasses but….

I do like the glasses very much, the multi lens is better than I thought they would be. With all that good info unfortunately there has to be some bad, the GLASSES are not shipping in a box with any real protection, shipped and delivered in just a envelope and a soft case so they were delivered completely bent out of shape. It takes too much time for me to drive 30 miles to send them back so I bent them into shape the best I could and will just move on.

NOT listed as 'blue blocking' but they are.

I specifically ordered these because there was no indication they are blue blocking lenses which is what I wanted (non-blue blocking) - unfortunately they are, or at least they have a slight yellow tint which is exactly what I was wanting to avoid. Were it not for this I would rate them 4 or 5 stars because they are very good in every other aspect - looks, comfort, fit, etc. but I really have to knock them down for not disclosing an important detail. I'll keep them because I need them but will continue looking for what I thought I was ordering.

Work for an emergency and not too bad otherwise.

Glasses arrived on time. They look nice, as good or better than my much more expensive prescription glasses. They fit a little snugly, but not to the point of discomfort. I can always adjust the temple over the back of the ear if necessary. I'm not sure how accurate the magnification is. My prescription for glasses matches the bottom magnification level of these glasses, but these do not allow me to see as clearly up close as my prescription glasses do. For distance, though, these are great. Anything beyond about 5 feet they work great and even up close I can see, but have to strain. I don't know whether my prescription has more than the simple magnification or if the magnification is a little less than represented. I really can't say that it's these glasses that are the problem. I would purchase these again. In fact, I'm going to do some experimentation by trying on some glasses that have a slightly greater magnification and compare it to what I bought. If it turns out that I need a stronger magnification for my purposes, I'll order another pair of these with the higher magnification. I don't know how what effect that will have on my distance vision with the concomitant change to the upper sections, but I'm willing to give it a try. The price is very reasonable and these are as good for distance as my more expensive prescriptions. I may not be able to match up the distance and the close up magnifications with the limited offering, but if your vision comes close I think these glasses will at least work in an emergency.

Highly recommended!

These are great multifocus glasses. I like the seamless transition from near to far. The arms are spring loaded and seem to be sturdy enough without being too heavy.

A great improvement, with 2 ideas for further improvement

These are a really great step forward in reading glasses. I love that I can just leave them on all the time and see well enough at any distance. However, two things would make them much better, in my opinion: 1 either having no correction at all in the top of the lens, or being able to peer over the lens to see at distance. For that reason, I preferClearview Single Vision Half Frame Reading Glasses, Antique Gold, +2.75 another pair of readers that arrived today even more, as I can peer over them to see at distance, even though they are not multifocus as these are 2 these fit a bit too tightly to my head, unlike the Alumineyes series2.75 Strength Foster Grant Tech Aluminum Rimless Lightweight Reading Glasses with Spring Hinges also offered by Foster Grant. It would be great to have this lens in the Alumineyes frame (and better yet if I could peer over them to see at distance, as I can with the Clearviews.) One other great option is a pair of Tifosi Tyrant 2 sunglasses with Night Light photochromic lenses,Tifosi Tyrant 2.0 1120306430 Dual Lens Sunglasses withHydrotac Stick-on Bifocal Lenses (OPTX 20/20)- +2.50 Diopter added to make them into bifocals. If you don't want to go the do-it-yourself route, Tifosi also sells replacement clear and smoke lenses for the Tyrant 2 with corrections up to +2.5. I have, and use daily, all of the above.

Best glasses for everyday wear

These glasses have saved me a trip to eye doctors and hundreds of dollars because I can wear them 24/7 not like reading glasses I have to continuously take on and off. Maybe I was just lucky because they're the perfect strength but I can read the smallest Sprint while watching TV in my living room without taking them off.

Variable focus makes these the best reading glasses by far.

Being able to focus close for reading, mid for keyboard, and far for computer monitor is everything you'll ever need. I have 6 pairs of these now.

Great idea but useless for viewing anything

Ordered 2.75 as per the description. The only portion that was 2.75 was the bottom 1/16 of an inch of the glass. Had the bottom rim splitting my vision. Must move that area up at least 1/2 an inch... way off.
