Haunted Candle!

Great artificial candle with very realistic flame. From even close range, the flame looks real flickering in the breeze. The remote works best in close range. Big mystery, however, is when we find the candle burning when we did not turn it on remotely. This is hard on battery life if it is not noticed, especially when away from home for any longer period of time. Could not figure out why first batteries lasted such a short time but reasoned that one of our candles suffered a mystery “turn on” and burned until the battery was drained. Have had multiple instances when we ask each other, “Did you turn on the candle?” Haunted????

Be prepared to buy a lot of AAA batteries!!

While these look nice when on, there is one big drawback. They come with a remote so you should not have to remove them from wherever you have them displayed to turn off/on. The remotes I received work great in theory. The problem is that if you do not actually flip the switch on the bottom of the candle from on to off after using them each time, they continue to drain the batteries just like they're still on. Defeats the purpose of having the remote. So now every time I need to turn them on or off, I have to take my sconces down from the wall, take the candles out & flip the switch, unless I also want to change the batteries every time I'd like to use them (which, of course, I didn't realize I would have to do & I hung them too high to reach without stretching on my tip toes or getting a step stool). So...pretty? Yes. Look like real candles when "lit"? Yes. Safer than real candles? Yes. Convenient? NO.

Love the look, may drain batteries even when not turned on

I mostly got this for decorative purposed and it looks great. The outside feels and looks like a real candle. Only complaint is I put in batteries (albeit they were cheap batteries from the dollar store) and they drained after a few days even though the light wasn't turned on (switch to on but used remote to turn off the light).

Nice candle

I like this candle for the price I paid, BUT I expected something ivory and it is much whiter than other remote candles I own, and secondly, it does not have a timer like the others. I will just keep it and buy something else to match the rest for a grouping but I wish I had had better information before I ordered.

Great Product

Great product for the price, as many other stores do not carry this item or they are more expensive. I do not need the remote so that does not concern me if it works or not. The first shipment I received the candle was busted into a million pieces BUT Amazon did send me one out and I received it the next day. I will be using these at my wedding on the tables, and the flicker light will make the room look beautiful.

Work Well

I ordered three and they work well. One remote handles all of them. The only surprise was that they are white. From the photos I expected them to be cream colored.

Unfortunately, the one I received was 3" in diameter, not 2.75" so it did not fit the candle holder I intended to use for my wedding. If it fit, it would have looked nice, though.
