Big seam down the middle!

I wanted to like this costume and it's *almost* a good one but theres no way this is a 3XL! I would describe it as a sixe XL or a XXL at most! My biggest gripe was the decision to place a huge, UGLY seam right down the middle of the costume! The seam was unnecessary and very distracting. The neck section of the costume (under the beard in the product picture) is confusing and doesn't lay the way it should. It looked more like a vampire neck cowl or something. Overall disappointing. Do yourself a favor and buy the slightly more expensive version of this costume for a better overall look.

No shoes, staff, wig, beard or gloves included.

$60 for just the gown and the hat. its comfortable but...$60!

Worked great as a robe for Prof. Albus Dumbledore!

My husband incorporated this as part of an Albus Dumbledore costume this year. He is 5' 11" and 240 lbs and it fit well. It would have been perfect if only 2 inches longer. He wore knee-length black socks and some slippers and it looked fine anyway. We did not use the hat. Instead, I bought an "official" Dumbledore hat online that looked much more authentic, despite not matching the robe color. Since this is a wizard's robe, you would think it would have a pocket for your wand, but alas, it does not. I recommend spending some time with needle and thread sewing a short strap inside the outer cloak for wand storage and a "quick draw" when needed. We are pleased to add this to our growing costume collection. Note: If you are considering the Dumbledore look, we recommend you also shop for a theatrical-quality beard and wig. It will cost as at least much as the robe and requires some skill to attach with spirit gum, but the effect will be much more realistic.

A great costume and as described.

As a large man - 315 pounds - I was looking for a costume that would fit. Large folks know that one size fits all (or even one size fits most) does not apply to us! With a Harry Potter theme for the family (until my son decided last minute to be a bee) I was looking for a good costume. This one caught my eye and and I'm really glad I ordered it. The sizing was accurate. I am a 56 chest and there is room to spare in there for me. The costume just slips over your head (the robe and the under tunic are attached). I have a big head (XL in hat sizes) and the hat fits me just fine. The material is thin but the quality is very nice. It does not look "cheap" like many costumes do. I have ordered a beard and wig combo to complete the costume and I'm very pleased with the whole presentation. Some lace up leather boots will complete the costume for me. A very happy big wizard!

Wizard's Costume

When I saw this I knew that I needed to buy it. When it came in I had to try it on to see if it will fit and it was a perfect fit. It looks great and it is not to thick or heavy to wear so one will not get over heated in the costume. It was well worth buying.

Good, no fuss costume

This is a good costume for larger people, as it fits well. The fabric is synthetic, so it's a bit warm. It comes with the tunic and hat only. You will need to supply other items elsewhere, if you want them (staff, beard, wig, shoes). It is a tad on the pricey side for what you get, but match it with a beard and make your own staff and you have a no fuss costume in no time. The tunic is worn over ordinary clothes. You pull it over your head, no zippers or buttons to mess with, which means pulling up one side of the costume if you want to reach into your pants pocket. Looks pretty much like the picture.
