The best!

The media could not be loaded. I am making a bathroom vanity and the only large factor drill bits I have for holes are paddle bits. Unfortunately the ones I have are more for general construction as they have a spiral grove in the tip that is meant to bite into the wood and pull the paddle blades into the wood. The result is a very messy and blown out hole perfect for running electrical wire through new construction studs, but not so much for fine cabinetry work. These Fisch bits are the first Forstner bits I’ve ever used but I am already glad I spent the few extra bucks for a sturdy forged bit from a respected name. I have a feeling that with proper maintenance these bits will last a lifetime. I also made a small stand for all the bits I ordered to keep them out of a tool box or garage drawer so they don’t get dinged up. The best thing about them is the wave technology which is sort of a hybrid of two other common Forstner bits but makes quick work of any hole you need to drill without skipping or running off center. Once installed in my bench top drill press I ran the bits through a few test pieces before using it on the final product but there was really no need. These bits are razor blade sharp and made quick work of the holes I needed. I am a Fisch fan from now on. Very highly recommended!!
