If these are as nice and hold up as long as my old Farberware set, I'll be a happy camper! I keep 4 pair in my drawer - 2 are Farberware. The other 2 are being replaced by this set!

So good I bought it again

These are our favorite kitchen shears. We've had them for several years and one pair recently broke when the center pin snapped. We weren't happy about that, but we've had them longer than we can remember, and they are so much better than any other shears we've had, we were happy to buy again.

One of the very few times when paying LESS give you 2x MORE.

They are scissors, they are stainless steel, they are sharp on the parts that are made to be sharp, and soft and comfortable on the parts you hold. What else do you need? Now, if you have the urge to drop $20+ for a pair of kitchen shears that do EXACTLY the same thing as these, then these are not for you. But, if you are looking for 2 pair of identical sheers, that look, feel, and act the same as the more expensive kitchen sheers, that make short work out of cutting up a chicken, tearing off the plastic netting on your holiday ham, can pop off the top of a beer bottle while you BBQ, that tear through meat, veggies and stuff you use scissors for .... then these are practically a steal. C'mon ... LOOK AT THE PRICE. Sometimes you pay more simply because you don't know better.

Scissors run on the small size

These scissors seem fairly sturdy but I find them uncomfortable to use as the openings for your fingers are very small. I am a petite woman and can barely get my fingers into the handles.
