A great gift

Music not working!

This is a great set of cards for a short game with the family and will support up to 10! I have always enjoyed playing with exploding kittens and this just makes it better. However, beware that at least the one I got was a malfunctioning unit in that the music it plays when you open it did not work. Great set otherwise!

Awesome game, horrible packaging.

I don't know where they had my box stored but it's seems like it had something heavy on top and probably was forced to fit in wherever they had it since the box came with dents and also damaged the audio device, it basically kept looping the first second of the "song" instead of playing the mariachi sound when you open it, I tried every possible way to fix it but couldn't, had to take it out since the batteries are non-replaceable as well; I noticed on some other reviews this had happened as well to other customers. I live in another country and I bring my stuff through a courier so I have no way to return this to get a replacement or refund and no way to check it until it arrives here where I live. It sucks but gotta give it credit, I love the game, it's incredibly fun, easy to learn and I love the art on every single card. If it wasn't for the inconvenience that I mentioned at the beginning, it would've received 5 stars.

Loved it and gifted it to a friend

I actually bought this twice. I originally bought this for my son’s 12th birthday/party and the kids loved it so much that another kid at his party asked for it for his birthday. Also, it plays music when you open the board game, which is pretty funny.

Fun game but audio system keeps failing

I love this game, but the it's the second time the audio system glitched (this is New set). It's not a big deal but it's a nice addition to the experience!

Easy to learn, short round fun

I bought this on offer for our after xmas dinner game. Whereas its fun I am glad I didn't pay the full price! Only negative I have is the kitty speaker has never worked and just makes a static sounds when you open the box. Couldn't return as didn't open until Xmas and needed it that day, so opened and used the card packs. The game itself is a quick to play time killer which once the family understood they will be victimised and targeted for explosion, a lot of fun. So even when you are out the game it is only a short wait until the next round (avoiding a repeat of Monopoly '21). Fun drawings and thoughtful artwork. If the expansion packs go on offer I may be tempted.

juego muy entretenido

Compré este juego ya que el normal es para 5 jugadores, y la expansión, sólo permite 1 jugador más, es decir, un total de 6 jugadores. Este en cambio, es hasta 10 jugadores. No sabía si no sería original o si tendría alguna pega, pero ahora que lo tengo, puedo decir que es todo correcto. He jugado con el normal, y en la calidad no hay diferencia, PERO, si que hay una pequeña diferencia con el normal, y es que hay 2 tipos de cartas que en este no existen (el "reverse", que es para cambiar de sentido, aquí no lo hay, y el "targeted attack", que es para elegir a quien atacas, tampoco, sólo está el "attack" normal, que es para el jugador siguiente en todo caso). Como son muchas cartas, hay dos tacos diferenciados con una marca para: con un taco jugar de 2 a 3 jugadores, con el otro taco, jugar de 4 a 7 jugadores, y para jugar de 8 a 10 jugadores, se jugaría con todas las cartas. Respecto al juego, es muy entretenido. Consiste en repartir 7 cartas a cada jugador, más un "defuse" (es como el comodín que te salva si te sale el gatito explosivo), el resto de cartas se deja en la mesa boca abajo y se introducen los gatitos explosivos (tantos gatitos como jugadores menos 1 haya), este será el taco para robar. Cada jugador en su turno puede jugar o no alguna o algunas de sus cartas, y finalmente tendrá que robar. Al jugador que le salga el gatito explosivo, pierde, pero se puede salvar si tiene un “defuse”, en este caso, echará la carta, y podrá colocar el gatito explosivo nuevamente en el montón, en la posición que él quiera. Si no tiene comodines, se quedará con el gatito y dejará de jugar. Hay diferentes cartas de juego (pasar el turno, atacar para que el siguiente tenga que jugar 2 veces en vez de una, barajar el montón del centro, robar de abajo, ver el futuro (ver las 3primeras cartas del taco del centro), ver el futuro y alterarlo (ver las 3primeras cartas y moverlas como quieras), otros gatitos, pedir un favor (que alguien te de una carta) y alguna más).

Fix for horrible sound issue

Hey everyone, the reason all our party packs came with a crappy sound when we first opened it is due to the game being pre-packaged with batteries. Our copies have obviously been sitting around for ages and the batteries have gone stale. I just replaced them and the sound works fine. So my advice is buy some cheap AG10 batteries with this game just in case you have the same issue

ACERCA DEL PARTY PACK (Ya es compatible con expansiones)

El juego de cartas es excelente y no necesita presentación, adquirí el Party Pack por promo a $350, valió muchísimo la pena! La edición actual del Party Pack ya contiene la parte trasera igual a los Deck que venden singulares (de 2 a 6 jugadores), así que sí, ya es compatible con las expansiones. Adquiride la expansión de Striking Kittens para comparar ello ya que siento que la textura de las cartas si es diferente en esta edición (una mayor calidad). Les recomiendo ampliamente adquirir micas (sleeves) de 63.5x88mm para proteger sus cartas y que tengan más tiempo de vida útil, más si juegan mientras comen algo o con niños. Las instrucciones son excelentes y te esplican como jugar de 2-3, 4-7 y 7-10 jugadores (que cartas usar y no usar en sí). Es un excelente juego y una gran adquisición, aunque siempre será recomendable continuar comprando las expansiones (actualmente 3) y como les comento, ya son compatibles con la Parte Pack Edition. Espero que sea de utilidad está reseña y se animen a adquirir este gran juego. El único detalle fue el envío que si le dió un pequeño golpe a la caja, pero se ignora.

Un juegazo! Mejor entre 4 o más jugadores.

De entrada los materiales y las cartas son buenos, la mecánica del juego es muy dinámica, pero eso ya puedes verlo en un review de youtube. El juego está en inglés, al igual que las cartas pero es todo tan sencillo que no creo que tengas problemas. Baja la app de exploding kittens para que te des una idea de la mecánica de juego... Pero créeme, es mucho más divertido en persona. Un juego totalmente recomendado que yo di como un regalo y funcionó. Mismo que ahora busco comprar para mi.
