Great deal for the price!

I've been a Dyson owner for years. I had their stick vac and really liked it. Unfortunately Dyson products just aren't what they used to be and after replacing the 3rd part (the delays were the worst) I decided to go a different route. I scoured every stick vac review site I could find and decided to give Eureka a chance. I'm pretty pleased with how it performs in our home. Also, we have a dog that sheds. Compared to Dyson stick vac: 1) Eureka is lighter and much more comfortable to grasp 2) Dyson has a little more suction but at 4-5x the price I'm good with taking a little extra time with the Eureka or could purchase an additional Eureka (or 3). 3) Dyson has a longer battery life but still didn't last for an entire house cleaning. For the price difference I could buy a Eureka for each floor of my home, in essence, providing longer battery life. I do the high traffic areas every day or 2 and the balance of the house weekly. I have to recharge in the process for both vacs. 4) Both worked well in our vehicles. 5) Both worked well on stairs. 6) Both worked well on wood floors, vinyl, carpet/rugs and furniture.

Okay for price

This is very lightweight which I love. I was skeptical when received it as does seem cheap but tried it & it actually picks up my shepherd hair, etc!

Great suction

I have bought several battery powered vacuums. Most have low suction and small filters. This machine has a good motor and large filters so it just works and works. The filters are large so they are not clogged all the time. The controls are user friendly. It's light weight and easy to maneuver. I like this one.

Best vacuum ever

What can I say about this vacuum that wouldn’t be a lie….. This is the best vacuum I have ever had. It’s super lightweight and picks up better than my expensive Dyson vacuum. There is no job it can’t do. I’m so glad I got this vacuum. I definitely rate it a 10/10.

Love it

I love my vacuum. But it fell over and a piece broke on the neck. I had to tapeit so I can use it. Is there anything I can do?

Good for Light to medium vacuuming

It’s a cool vacuum for light to medium vacuuming. The attachments don’t work as good as I would like them to. Otherwise it is good.

Pretty good for the size and price

I live in a very small house with hardwood floors and a couple rugs. I have two small dogs with short hair. The flexible neck is awesome. My space is super small so it’s nice to not have to move my furniture every time I want to vacuum. The brush will collect hair, so I suggest at leave cleaning the bust once a month (my long hair can creat a nightmare on vacuums). It’s not as powerful as I would like, but it does good enough, but that’s also just the truth on these small stick vacuums. If you are looking for major suction, look at what maids use and get one of those. This is more of a spot vacuum or an alternative for small spaces. I would probably not have bought this if I had all carpet floors.

great deal for stick vacuum

I had been looking at different options for a small stick vacuum. This Eureka turned out to be a really good buy. For everyone, let it fully charge 6 hours before using. Otherwise the suction is not great. Once it's fully charged up, it's works fantastic. Not noisy and convenient.

Didn't work from the moment I received it

I was so happy when I received the vacuum...I haven't purchased a vacuum in 25 years! I charged the vacuum for several hours the day I received it, followed instructions...I pressed on the power button and nothing, it wouldn't turn on. My new Eureka vacuum is a lemon. I am so disappointed. I called Amazon the same day, and they said to contact Eureka. The Amazon rep was very nice and helpful and she said she will follow up with me 3 days later and she said she wants me to be 100% satisfied. It is now 4 days later and no one has called me to follow up. Eureka said they can't help me and to return the vacuum on Amazon. I am disappointed because the Amazon rep didn't follow up and this vacuum is no longer available. There is a similar vacuum that costs $65 more and I dont want to spend more for a similar vacuum. I am usually very happy with Amazon's service, they have been amazing. This is the first time I am disappointed.

Works well.

Very good vacuum for small jobs. We have dark laminate floor and a long haired cat so plenty of hair to remove. Easier to use this vacuum for that than getting the central vac hose out.
