Good not great

I was looking for a silicone tipped tong with a stainless steel structure and this fit the bill! However upon receiving it, the action was not smooth and the tongs did not open wide enough. The spring inside just isn’t strong enough to provide enough resistance and it felt cheap. I purchased this brand specifically because I had an older version that was fantastic but finally bit the dust. Ended up returning the item and purchased an OXO which to me feels more like the older version of these tongs

Perfect Tongs.

I got a pair of these as a wedding guft. They are great but I needed another pair. These new ones work well but they are a little stiffer.

Sturdy and easy to use

I love that it has that grip at the tip of the tongs and that it has a lock feature for easy storage. Very sturdy and does not look cheaply made.

Great Tongs

I bought my first one at Walmart on a whim. I bought two more from Amazon. We have replaced our older tongs with these. The only complaint is they are a little thing at the end. If you are trying to flip tortillas the silicone on the end might be a bit much. But in general these are great tongs. The one handed control is very nice versus fighting the gravity with a pair that opens and closes based upon what angle you hold them.

Highest Quality Feel and Operation

Best tongs ever! Great spring action, one handed locking mechanism has 3 positions - closed, half open and wide. They are straight and meet evenly instead of missing or being offset. So much higher quality and feel. Favorite utensil in the drawer.

Farberware Pro 12 in One Hand Silicone head Tongs

I was given these tongs for an honest review. The opinion expressed here is my own. I really like these tongs. The silicone head is great for any kind of cookware, stainless or non-stick. Does not scratch. The one hand slide lock is very convenient and is great for storage (doesn't take up a lot of space). These tongs are comfortable in the hand a work great. I would definitely recommend this item if you are looking for 12 inch tongs.

Favorite style tongs

I love these tongs, my first pair after 5 years say the tips wearing away. Tried a different brand but came back and bought this brand because they are that good. I use my older ones for pulling items from my top shelves.
