Okay - If you've gotten this far, you're definitely looking for a laugh... *cracks knuckles* ~~~JAWS MOOD BACKGROUND MUSIC~~~ These Elasmobranch inspired Corn Stakes are exactly what the starting Corn Slayers needs when stalking the BBQs this summer. This product uses traditional and historical Corn Stake construction, providing 2 prongs - which as we all know from the Corn Slayer Lore - Is not only to slay the demon, but to ensure that each kernel, is devoid the evil contained within. Seeing these black eyed beauties pierce through the flesh of the yellow demon .... well let me tell you... it was utter CORNage. But, seriously, there's just someFIN about this Corn cob holders. ???? ???? They are adorable and sturdy and hysterical.

These are to look at, not use

i'm using a beach theme for my house so when I saw these shark corn holders I couldn't wait to add them to my kitchen. They arrived on time and well packaged, and looked great. As I unpacked them for their first use, I realized the metal prongs weren't parallel which made them difficult to insert. When we were done with dinner and I was removing the corn holders, some of the metal prongs remained in the corn. As nice as these are to look at, they are not functional.

Fun idea, low quality

It’s a fun corn holder idea but it isn’t well done. The paint job is all over the place. Many of the prongs are bent out of shape and I’m unable to bend them back to where the should be. It also doesn’t come with any covered for the prongs. I think if I’m paying a extra for fun ones they should at least come with paint and prongs in place.

Agree w/ previous comments-pokers not glued in well & fins break off.

LOVED the concept, but not well made at all! 1st time used 2 pieces lost tines in cob. Then hand washed & fin broke off another. Definitely dont suggest putting in dishwasher! Tried regluing tines to no avail. Novelty at best not for real use.

Amazing customer service

The sharks are adorable, but came with some defects from manufacturing. The seller was brilliantly quick to respond and went above and beyond in helping me with my concerns. I'm shark obsessed and this is perfect for my collection. Highly recommend this seller!

Poor quality

Fun idea but rubbish execution. One of them is missing a prong, the others are bent all over the place. Pretty sure they'll not last long...

Shark with no bite

So like a bunch of people say...the spikes don't hold. They break and get stuck in the corn. If you get them back, you glue them back on then it rusts... Also, they are made of pottery/clay...so if one fell on the ground, a flipper will break...and it's sad too, because your shark has lost a flipper and one point....handicapped sharks basically. My kids really like the sharks cuz sharks are so cool, but they break so easily it's not quite worth it. I bought some dog corn holder and they're still holding. Not one broke.

Painted by a 3 year old?

The product was both molded and painted badly without any kind of care or attention. See image for more details - returning it is also a pain as have to send from UK to USA and claim back postage later. Totally not worth the money or hassle.

Fun, but not good quality

When washing these for the first time, I noticed that some of the prongs were loose and a couple even came right out. Can probably super glue them back, because I love that they're sharks, but I'm doubtful these will come out of the corn cob properly and just pull right out of the shark handle. Too bad as the shark parts look great. More of a novelty item than something that's usable unfortunately.
