Excellent Pie Dish

I purchased this pie dish as a gift for a friend. It arrived right on time. The pan had strange smears on it, which were easy to wipe off. I cleaned it, wrapped it, and she is totally happy with her gift. You just can't go wrong with Emile Henry bakeware; it is by far the best.

Definitely a deep dish pie plate

Great looking as one might expect from Emile Henry. It's just that I had not anticipated that my quiche would not poof up and the crust was up over the edge making a rather ridiculous looking tall edge.

Great Pan for Crustless Quiche

Well made product, easy to clean (just soak for a bit and baked on stains easily wash away). Love the green color. Made in FRANCE, not you-know-where. Highly recommend

No glaze on bottom of white pan

Extremely disappointed to find out that the white version does not have a glaze on the bottom. I should've realized something was different by the reduced price. I did look at all of the photos or I would've realized it before purchase. Returning this. I need one that is properly made.

Love this pan

I was tired of the store bought glass pie pans that are only 2" deep. Purchased this for quiche and loved it so much I got the red and the yellow as well. Bakes well on second to lower rack and food turns out great.

I’ve baked many quiches and frittatas in this beautiful red pie dish. It’s easy to clean and very sturdy. Worth the price because of the quality of the pottery.

Love this dish almost as much as I love pie

I loved this pie dish the moment I took it out of the packaging. I loved it even more as I was eating the raspberry rhubarb pie that my boyfriend baked for me in it. He bakes a lot of pies and said that this is by far his favourite pie dish as he can fit a whole extra cup of filling into the plate since it's quite deep. It also bakes evenly, which some pie dishes do not. I see us having this dish for many years to come and would not hesitate to recommend this dish to a friend.

A Quality Piece

Beautiful! Very good quality. I bought the 9 inch red, deep dish, pie plate. Wasn’t disappointed. I checked for imperfections and there were none. My apple pie baked evenly as advertised. A true deep dish plate which I’ll also be using to cook things other than fruit pies.
