No Nonsense Ribbed Crew Sock - 6 Pair, Asst. black, sesame, and taupe are thin for crew socks but fine as dress socks. They are a longer crew sock length and fit shoe sizes 6-12. They are made of 99% nylon and 1% Spandex. The socks have a "comfortable toe seam and stay-up top" and they fit higher up the calf. They are machine wash in cool water and dry on low heat. No Nonsense says they have "exceptional durability." The colors are nice, they fit well, and are comfortable. The sock guy is happy with them. As a small bonus, these socks are made in the USA and sell at a reasonable price.

Truly no-nonsense

These socks are suitable for a work outfit. They're not the softest or most comfortable socks and the packaging left a bit to be desired. But they're fine for socks. The colors are sensible. They're socks - not much more to say!

Basic Socks

Just what you would expect from a basic dress socks and good value for the price. Comfortable fitting sock, thin material, but not unusually thin, though. I wear 10.5 wide sized shoes and these socks fit just fine. This does have a toe seam, would be nice if it did not but this is not expected for socks at this price level.

Good Dress Socks, Higher on the Calf and Stay Up Without Binding

Made in the USA, these socks are no nonsense and work well for casual to dress. They have a nice little design woven in that keeps them from being boring. My husband's foot size is 10 1/2 to 11 on the narrow side. Socks can be a challenge. He says he likes these socks. They are thinner and he likes that they are on the thin side for summer wear which is about 9-10 months here. He wears these with anything from jeans to dress pants. He mostly wears business casual and these are perfect for that look. They come higher on the calf but don't bind and they do stay up on his trimmer legs. The heel fits well on his feet and the toes are fine. The sizing says 6-12. I think if you were on the smaller end of that sizing these socks might be really long because they are generous in length for sure which is nice for my hubbs. One thing is the seam across the top which is typical. He doesn't mind that at all and doesn't find that it is a problem in his shoes. He likes the 3 different colors and wears all of them. He has worn them several times and they wash well, don't ravel and are wearing well. We have no reason to expect that they will not last as expected. I will definitely update this review if we find that they have any problems, but at this point we don't expect any. Recommend.

Sockre bleu, or tan, or black

No nonsense by name; no nonsense by nature These socks are plain ribbed. They come in a plastic sack where they appear to have been casually tossed; They don't even have those (often annoying) plastic tabs that have to be cut to separate them But they are also comfortable, sturdy,and appear able to withstand almost any punishment So.....

I like them, but some problems.

I wear nylon socks a lot. I take a size 9.5-10 shoe. These socks are a little longer from heel to toe than my other socks. From heel to my calf is too long to be comfortable unless I fold it down. These are the reasons for the 4 star rating. I do like the apparent quality and the material comfort of these socks.

Good US made socks

We're always delighted to find a well made product at a reasonable price which comes right from the usa. He's traditional socks meet all of those criteria. They're made out of polyester which is great for long-term durability but doesn't quite have the moisture control that I like cotton for. These fit as expected and don't shrink through the laundry.
