This thing is consistent EVERY TIME ... other heavy weight scales I have bought vary a lot from minute to minute..... this one is exactly the same .... step on step off step on step off step on again ...... its the same reading ... I took it with me to my last dr. appoint ..... its was the same reading he had in his office scale ...........

Easy to use.

Scale is easy to stand on, even for a large person, is easy to stabilize, and beeps to let you know when a reading has been established. You can then step off the scale with plenty of time to read the large, clear, and backlit numbers.

super accurate

when i first bought this i weighed around 366 lbs so it was really hard to find an accurate scale and this one was perfect. its worth the price and ive used it everyday for around a year now and im all the way down to 280 and we are both still going strong!

The scale is sturdy and heavy enough to stay in place. Fits my size 11 feet. **Note there were no batteries included as described.

Works well

I'm a big guy and it's nice to have a sturdier scale than can handle my weight. Easy to read, just don't kick it or the batteries can come loose.

Great scale, very happy with my purchase. ????

Only down side is that it took a while to arrive but that is to be expected since covid-19. Super happy with my purchase. First thing I noticed was how heavy the scale was, solid build and very sleek design. Super quick to get going, pop in the batteries that it comes with, set it on a hard surface, tap it once with your foot, wait until you see 0.0 and it turns off. Then it's calibrated. Love the wide with of the scale. Can stand normally without having to balance and steady yourself like smaller scales. Love that it beeps when it has the weight and stays there for a while after you step off. Only thing i didn't like was the number that it showed. Guess I have been doing more stress eating than I thought since covid-19. Well at least now I will be able to track and get that number moving in the right direction. Thanks to the shop owner for having the product available to purchase, for Amazon having the easy platform and distribution centers and for the driver that delivered the package.

Stay away from this device. You step on it and it tells you how fat you are. Such cruelty. Who ever thought of inventing something like this.... Garanteed to ruin your day. 10/10, I'm still fat.

Batteries are in the box, taped to part of the packaging - make sure you read the instructions

Some comments say the batteries are not included - they are. In the manual it says where the batteries are located in the packaging. Scale is sturdy, I am 6'1 and until I got the scale, hadn't weighed myself in many years - last time I checked, I was 420lbs and wanted the extra "room" in case I was heavier. The platform is wide - much wider than a usual scale. Personally, I'd like it maybe an inch wider on either side. I do need to squish my legs together a pit to be centered on the scale, but, it's comfortable enough and I don't feel like I contorting to stand on it. Looks nice and the screen is bright and easy to read. Even has a decimal point for a bit more info, i.e. 431.6lbs. I recommend reading the short manual - that's how I found out the batteries were taped to the cardboard packaging because I didn't notice them at first. There is also a note about calibration - turn it on, it will say C on the display, read zero's and then turn off. Then you can stand on it again and get a reading. You only need to do this when you swap batteries or move it to a new location/change in flooring. Does everything the item description says and I would recommend to others

A good quality scale with reasonable accuracy

This scale seems well built and measures weight quite consistently if it remains in the position at which it was last calibrated. I haven't yet been able to compare it with my doctor's scale for accuracy, but it appears to be about right. Carrying 16 pounds of dumbbells onto the scale adds exactly 16 pounds to my weight. Calibration is easy and can be done any time to ensure better accuracy but is not necessary every time. The manufacturer recommends not using it or storing it in a place with high humidity. However, it is marketed as a bathroom scale -- bathrooms are humid. I have it located quite close to the shower in our master bathroom that has tile floors. It gets water splashed on it when anyone showers and sometimes when they just dry their hands on the nearby towel. So far, no problems with the humidty. The scale is a good size and works well even for very large people and for people with big feet. Some have complained about the beeping sound it makes each time one steps on it. It's a little bit loud but I do not find it annoying. To switch between pounds and kilograms, on must reach under the scale and press a button of sorts, and, because the scale must be lifted to do that, it also must be re calibrated, which is somewhat inconvenient. I would prefer the button be on the front of the scale.

Not very accurate

This scale is highly inaccurate. I was swayed by the positive reviews, but I'm quite disappointed. I've calibrated it properly, it's on a solid, level floor, and still it shows a different weight every time. Even seconds apart, and not just a slightly different weight, my weight literally fluctuates 3-5 pounds or more every single time I step on it. I weighed myself 4 times in a row this morning and not once did it show the same time. I tried stepping on it with a 5 pound dumbbell to check the accuracy and my weight went up 7.2 pounds instead of the 5 it should have. I needed a high capacity scale as I'm too big for a standard analog scale, but this is extremely disappointing for the amount of money I spent. The size is great, it's easy to use, but if you want to have any idea what your weight actually is, don't buy this one.
