Little to bright

I've replaced these lights over the past 21 yrs. These are little bit to bright. Also the cover is much thinner and cheaper than ever. It illuminates and is semi-transparent. I painted the inside black which fixed it and put tape over the light on the inside. Ok now

It looks like multiple dots glowing behind the plastic cover

Light output similar to a LED night light (i.e. dim). Blu-ish color light (cooler end of the spectrum of visible light). This product really should have a metal plate/cover (it comes with 2 plastic louvered covers - one vertical and one horizontal). The issue is that the LED lights appear as hot spots (concentrated bright areas) behind the plastic louvre, which was a turn-off to me personally. It looks like multiple dots glowing behind the plastic cover. A metal cover would have solved that problem. Given the fact these are louvred you can't simply buy one at your local hardware store. I'm disappointed in Eaton, which is known for overall decent electronics. Note this product is actually made by Cooper Wiring Devices, which was acquired by Eaton in 2012. The packaging is standard Cooper retail.

Use a filter to change color temp.

I didn't know the color temp when I bought it. It was blue 56k light. I like the 32k.

Needs improvement

The plastic cover plate does not block the led lights from showing through. It also doesn’t pull down tight enough on lightly textured walls which allows light to bleed through the edges. It needs to have a stronger metal plate.

Better than anticipated

I purchase this product to provide more light in my stairwell. These lights produce so much light, I purchased way more of them thsn needed. I'll gibvbd other uses for the extra ones.

Great Night Light!

Great night light, puts light were I needed it. A brown cover would be nice.

Good step light. Brighter than my others (but not too bright).

Replaced an older step light with this. It was brighter than expected. I also used the old faceplate because the one with this one was plastic.

Nice accent lighting

This is the second house we installed these and love them. Husband is an electrician so he found it easy to install.
