Easier than the KwikTwist, but not as neatly finished.
I bought this tool to do twists in my wire leaders and It is super easy to use. It is smaller in size than I expected but that does not seem to make it a challenge to use. I also bought the Kwik Twist tool, but I found this one to be faster and easier to learn though the Kwik Twist tool makes a neater/tighter twist on the line. And this tool does not require any extra tools to use... I have attached pictures to show that you CAN put twists in both ends of your leader, as the tool has a cut in it for the wire to go. Once you make the twist you can slide the tool down make a few tighter wraps and then open the tool and take it right off of the wire. I found the instructions easy and straightforward, though a YouTube video out there may be easier for the visual learner. I use Malin #6 HardWire for the twists in the picture.

Worked like a champ
The media could not be loaded. I was able to place leaders on 12 lures as well as create 10 spare leaders in half the time it used to take me to do 6 lures, all without losing feeling at the end of my fingers. I used to dread creating steel leaders because I would end up with massive cramps in my hand as well as lose some feeling in the tips of my fingers from all the bending and twisting, I was almost sad I ran out of leader wire. I played around with it at first, but it did not take long for me to become very proficient with it, I don't know how I ever used to fish without it.

Takes some practise but is better than hand twisting of leader wire.
It is tricky to figure out how to use this tool and I needed to look around on You Tube but finally I can make strong haywire twists now although I still do the barrel rolls by hand. I never could figure out how to use the tool for the barrel rolls. It seems to me the actual manufacturer should do more to help buyers get the most from this useful little tool.

Could be a tad larger
It works pretty well. I wish it was a bit bigger in diameter so it would be easier to hold. Otherwise, it works pretty well. After my 2nd try I had it down.

Works with lighter wire but forget wire around #13
The tool is small and works fine on smaller wire sizes. It is not robust enough for the larger sizes listed in its capabilities. The tool is basically a plastic insert with a stainless sleeve. I'm making a lot of musky and lighter salt water leaders with this tool and its ok but the wire eventually takes a toll on the insert. I have moved on to the much larger Skurge of the Sea haywire twister for bigger sizes. It is much more expensive but its a real tool if you are making leaders #12 or larger.

Perfect Haywire Twists with Practice
I have been making haywire twists by hand and while I'm pretty good at it I felt like there should be a tool to help me do it more effectively. I was right. My first try with this tool was "ok", my twists weren't tight enough for me. My second try - much better. I then made a rig and by the third loop I had it down pat. The trick to this tool is to apply some pressure as you make the twists to keep the tool tight to the "V" of the wire as it twists. This gives you nice even, strong twists. The barrel wraps are idiot proof. Pay attention to what you're doing and practice a few and you're off to the races. I found now I am wasting less wire as well because the loop is more consistent I don't leave so much of a tag in the end. GREAT TOOL.

Smaller then anticipated
Much smaller tool than I anticipated. Hard for me to handle and control, while also learning to make haywire twists. Not able to form tight haywire twists due to not being able to control the tool and wire. I have larger hands, someone with smaller hands would be better I guess.

I needed a tool to make haywire twists and this had decent reviews. They turn out alright, but not consistently neat.
