Was able to modify for a different brand of baby gate, it works, but it wasn't a perfect fit.
I have the wonkiest stairway banister. It doesn't line up, it sits a little uneven at the edge and all in all it isn't made for putting up a baby gate. The problem is I have a baby, and steep stairs. Well I was looking for a solution and these extenders are that solution. I have a Regalo brand baby gate and while these extenders were not made for that gate, but we got them to work. I just had to add my own washers and it worked fine. Make sure you measure the inside part of your gate where the extender is going to screw into though because it is a super tight fit on my gate another tenth of a centimeter and there is no way they would have fit in. Other than that they do what they are supposed to do. They are about 4 inches long but they have to be screwed into the baby gate so really they don't extend the gate that much. They are solid metal and have a little pad that in theory would protect the banister, mine is wrought iron so I think it is safe. The pad is falling off though, look at my pictures for reference. Overall this works, it didn't work perfectly we had to modify it. Mostly due to my strange railing but I am happy because I found a way to get the baby gate to stay where it is supposed to be.

Perfect for what I needed.
These were exactly what I needed! I needed to move my baby gate where there were corners in the wall & these worked great. They fit my gate well and fit snug against the wall

Works Great with the Liberty Gate from Dreambaby!
I have been looking for a gate for quite some time now as my 18 month year old loves going up and down the stairs. My stairs are oddly build so most of the gates I bought did not fit.. After quite some time I finally found the Liberty Gate from Dreambaby and then I saw that I can purchase these adapters. I am so happy that I did. The Liberty Gate installation took about 5 minutes and this adapter just replaces you get with that gate (I only needed to use one of them). It fits perfectly in the gate and is pretty sturdy. I would definitely recommend! I attached a few photos of what it looks like so you can tell if the gate/adapter combo could work for you.

Finally a Cheap Bannister Solution
I have been hunting for way to install a gate for my staircase, which has a double banister at the bottom. I was worried I would have to resort to purchasing an expensive kit for each side of the banister that also would create quite an eye sore. Just as my son figured out how to crawl up my stairs I stumbled upon these adapters. I used them with the Munchkin Easy Close Metal Gate. They worked perfectly and you can hardly tell that they weren't an original part of the gate. The best part was how inexpensive they are and you don't even have to purchase them separately (like that other overpriced kit). I am only deducting one star because it is not a super-tight fit (as to be expected with the way it is designed) and there is a tiny bit of movement if you yank on the gate. What a relief to have found these!!!!

Good Gate
I like Cumbor gates the best but they did not have a pressure mounted gate in the size we needed. This gate is a good gate and they had our size. The lock on the gate and the auto close are a little inferior to Cumbor gates but still good quality. It is sturdy and I would buy it again.
