Great for 5"8+

These are very nice, satiny, thigh highs that stay up the whole evening. They're worth the extra $$ because they're comfortable and they last for several wears.

Sexy hosiery

Very smooth shiny and sexy hosiery. Great looking lace on top and the latex keeps them from slipping down. Like all hosier the tiny holes and runs are starting to show up after maybe 6-10 uses. Why can't they make Kevlar hosiery?

Great hosiery

I love this line of hosiery. Just enough shimmer, good fit and a little supportive without looking like "support" hose. And the thigh highs stay up well.

Injury

OK, I have heard about people getting blisters and welts from thigh highs, but I thought they were wearing hose that were too tight or got a bad pair. However, now it has happened to me! :( When I opened these, I was a little worried they would be too big. They are long and were about the circumference of my thigh, with just 2 strips of sticky stuff. I decided to give it a go on a quiet day at work, and I was amazed that they stayed up so well without squeezing my thigh. On the way home, I felt a pain on my leg and I didn't think anything of it. That evening, I was shocked to see a welt almost all the way around my leg, and a series of blisters in one area. The largest blister is almost a centimeter long, but only 3 or 4 mm wide. Now I have been wearing gauze taped on my leg the rest of the week, because I don't want the blister to pop and ruin my clothes. I am giving them 2 stars, because they did not run and were otherwise comfortable. But this has never happened to me. I do not know if it was something about this brand, which was new to me, or if they were just on tender skin, because they were so tall they came almost to the top of my leg. I will wash these and try one more time and check them frequently throughout the day. (after I have healed)
