DKNY uses painted fabric

I bought two of these. One orange & one neon yellow/green. Great looking puffer coats at first glance, but each were inconsistently sized. The yellow/green fits perfectly and the orange one made me feel and look like a sausage. Waaaay too tight & you’d never think they were the same size & from the same company. I returned the orange, but kept the yellow/green. Within 10 days the color started peeling and cracking on the sleeves where your hands go in your pockets, at the cuffs and basically anywhere else the coat naturally bunched up-forearms just below the elbows, collar etc. DKNY replaced the coat after making me send them pictures to prove that it was cracking and peeling. They said the coat didn’t meet their “high standards”. Rather than checking a replacement themselves to ensure that the replacement DID meet their “high standards” they had me purchase a second one through their website-which makes zero sense because the person picking the order has no idea they should be checking to make sure the fabric isn’t painted. Case in point, the replacement came & the fabric is definitely painted just like the original one. Unfortunately for me it’s spring now and I won’t be wearing the new coat until next winter, so when it starts peeling DKNY will probably say it’s something I did, or just say it’s not under warranty.
