Looks great, need to protect it

The detail on it is good. The base seams like it was made to last, but the dragon is thin and hollow. I read other reviews that said it will only last one year before it fades and starts to crack from weather. So I coated it with 2 part boat paint and it looks even better. Time will tell if I prolonged it's life on my roof or not.

performance

this is a tough one to review.. it's my second one. i purchased the 1st one 5 years ago and, installed it outdoors. looks great but, don't expect it to last more than 5-6 years, within the second year, it bleached out from the sun and, inside of 5 years, it became brittle and the base cracked. BUT, for the money and the look, replacing it every 5 years (which i shouldnt have to do) is no big deal..

PDC... Pretty Damn Cute...

My initial reaction is that it is pretty damn cute... light weight but seems well made... just got it so I can't comment yet on how well it will hold up to the weather... fingers crossed I'm hoping it holds up to the weather... where I mounted it should be partially protected... but it will for sure get wet and sun exposure...

He lives up to his name "Lovable and Lounging"

Lemont has lived up to his name. I just Love having him Louging on our ledge in our Living room. He arrived in a damaged box (I believe was FedEx's fault). When opening the box Lemont was in cased in a lot of Styrofoam, so he had no damage. He is HUGE!! So much detail. He's a great addition to our cabin theme decor. If you're debating on buying (I was doing for months), just buy him. You will NOT be disappointed.

Can’t leave it outside lol

This thing looked great. Nice and heavy but when you read the instructions, it says not to leave it out in cold weather or ice etc etc lol (Not sure why that was not in the description) So, I guess I have to get on my roof and remove it every time it is cold. Lol. I decided to spray it with a plastic cover paint and then I noticed cracks. I pealed the cracks back. Looks like it is made of fiberglass with some type of thin shell over it. ????????‍♂️

Not for outdoor use

When It came I loved this dragon. Put it on the roof of my porch and it was admired by everyone. But, after 18 months the colour is coming off and what’s worse is that it’s white underneath so looks like pigeons have been pooing on it. Such a shame especially as it’s been cemented on the roof an not easy to get down to paint.

Spooky moon flapping bat weather vane

Love this bat and moon weathervane, saw it on Pinterest and spend awhile tracking down a seller in the uk. Got the roof mounted version. Bat that swings free kept hitting the moon repeatedly and I didn’t want to upset the neighbors so after a slight modification to the length of free wire, shrink wrapped it shorter, he still flys free, but only the occasional bash of the moon in extremely windy weather. So less of a wind-chime effect.

Majestic

This stands proudly on my shed roof - it is detailed and sturdy. The only slight downside is the angle of the fitment isn't flexible and therefore stands proud a bit. Am hoping one day to get someone to put it on the roof of the house where I originally intended it to be.

Good quality, was given as a present

Good quality, was given as a present, and lived up to expectations. Pretty heavy, but should fit on most peaked roofs I think - in my case it is probably going on top of a summer house.
