They work as should. Used as an attachment to a homemade wooden beer box.

Very pretty , but does not work. In order for u to open bottles you have you have to open the opposite way. Design flaw.

Great, I like it

Good that this arrived this time of year because this is a perfect accessory for a man cave/summer barbeque with friends. Its quite heavy and actually quite big, you are going to notice this if its set up in the garden or man cave. The teeth are not so big though so the angle could be a little better for getting bottles open which is pretty much what its there for but still, its a great little piece for hanging up and well worth a mention when seeing it. Got two holes in the top and one below the chin for hanging arrived well packed so even if you are not hanging it now you can store it for later.

Growling Lion Bottle Opener

I've only got the one, but it's brilliant. With it being a heavy cast iron, it doesn't look tacky. I've put it up on the brick wall next to my dad's outside smoking chair, originally as a joke, but it actually does look okay and he uses it often. It's perfect for an outdoor BBQ patio area, as a very useful tool but also as a talking point. It's not as outrageous and garish as expected, I actually genuinely like it, which I somewhat wasn't expecting! Doesn't come with fixings, you will need tools - drill, screwdriver, raw plugs and screws.

These are quite large - about the size of a medium sized orange and clearly sand cast. The castings are quite rough - painted bronze on the outside and blackened on the inside. I mount beer bottle openers on wood and they can make great craft projects. However, don't expect high art or even particularly goo aesthetics as the overall finish is not particularlt good, nor the imagery wholly lion-like. Still they are functional and work well. So, if you want or need a beer bottle opener these are okay, if not quite traditional and look kind of lion-like.

Great looking bottle opener

I wasn’t expecting this to look as good as it does, its a very well moulded metal lions head. The mouth is used as a bottle opener, its seems strong enough but I do worry about the teeth, there small and look like they could break off if you had a hard to open bottle top. Detail is very good, I’ve had a few bits from Design Toscano and this is one of the better ones, they do tend to be a bit out there with designs but this is more my taste A great novel item that looks great and seems to work well.
