Really good sculpt, with one complaint

I really like this sculpt, but I bought it to paint. It takes paint just fine, but the eyes are shaped oddly and it makes them hard to paint. The pupils are raised and the irises are sunken. This actually creates a neat effect if you just want to leave the statute its marble color, but if you're looking to paint the eyes that construct makes it extremely difficult to make them look real. Again, a very good high quality sculpt, just that one warning for anyone else looking for a painting project.

Great detail

I bought one of these for my classroom and they look great. They have a sturdy base and you get great craftsmanship for the price. Definitely worth it if you are trying to give a room a feeling of studiousness.

Neat figure

Was a neat idea, smaller than I imagined but def as described. One small blemish but nothing to complain about. Overall satisfied.

The Quality is great

The media could not be loaded. I've been buying items all the time in amazon, and I haven't taken the time to write down a review for any of my items until right now. I am impressed how beautiful this item is. The quality is wonderful and the piece is so elegant to have in your room, living room or your studio room. This piece will provide that little elegant touch to your space. I can't believe I'm taking my time to write down and provide pictures of this Athens Bust. The price is worth it! I don't regreat any at all.

Beautiful

I just converted a room into my library and I needed just a few bits of bric-a-brac to decorate. This bust of Pallas perched above my library gives it extra class and is very pretty. The right size, nicely heavy but not too much, and arrived in perfect condition. Hail Athena.

Beautiful!

The detail on this bust of the Roman goddess of wisdom is amazing. From the plumes and intricacies of the helm to the scales of the armor, the attention to detail is great. Others have complained about the packaging, but my only complaint was that it said "Mars Bust" on the box. I feared that Amazon had shipped me the wrong item. I had little reason to fear, and Minerva is now looking out from atop a bookshelf in my library.

NOT Minerva

I had been looking for a while to find a reasonably priced bust of Minerva -- Specifically NOT wanting Athena. I was super excited about adding Minerva to my collection after ordering this (and not having to deal with customs issues from ordering abroad -- which I have experienced). The purchase turned out to be a bust (ba-dum-ching) -- It's Athena, not Minerva, and has her name going across the chest. That said, the quality of the bust is pretty stellar for this price point and size. So if you are looking for Athena or aren't particular either way -- I recommend this bust. But if you are specifically looking to purchase a Minerva bust... no dice.

Great quality

Good finish. The only downside, being picky, is that it's too matt, looks a bit like plaster.

Good value product!

A great product. I bought this as an object for drawing. Good size and weight, features are of a good quality and proportion. Only downside, it arrived with minor scuffs to the face.
