Beautiful, But Very Lightweight

An absolutely beautiful statue that fits beautifully into my back yard garden. The statue is exactly the size that I was looking for. I had been looking around at some of the local garden shops and this statue is a much better deal as well as being of better quality. The material that the statue is made of is a lot lighter than I had expected and the statue itself is entirely hollow. I is just barely heavy enough to keep from blowing over in strong winds, so should probably be set in an area where it is not easily bumped into or subject to high speed winds. Unlike statues made of traditional stone or concrete this statue is light enough so that anyone could easily pick it up and walk off with it, so it is not really appropriate for front yards in most locations or places that the public has access to. I would never leave something this expensive out where anyone could just pick it up and walk off with it. Other than that, this statue is perfect for my garden, which is behind a fence and well away from public view. I wish that there was an easy way to keep the statue more firmly in place or a way to easily fill the hollow interior with sand or concrete in order to give it more weight though.

Very attractive and lightweight! Excellent quality!

Very attractive statue! I just go an entire new front and back yard and this will be beautiful. However, I am cautious about leaving her sit in the front yard, because, invariably, in my nice neighborhood...... it will get stolen! So, she sits in the back yard on the flower garden area. The color is perfect, goes with the entire garden area. It stands out! It is lightweight material. Looks heavy, looks big, but it is actually more on the lightweight side. The details are amazing! Look at the lines in the clothes. Fine detail throughout. Of course, this will come inside during the winter months, and I will see how it survives the sun and rain in the backyard. I may put it in the shade for starters next spring. Beautifu!

Beautiful design, very graceful

Design Toscano truly made a very beautiful and well made replica of this iconic statue by Michelangelo; of mother Mary and child Jesus. This is just a stunning piece and I'm very happy we got the opportunity to review this amazing statue. The detial is beyond well done and I'm so happy with the packaging, it was nicely sealed up in foam in a large box to keep it protected durning the delivery process. Overall I would say this is a gorgeous statue to add to your garden or front porch! I am very satisfied with this and totally recommend this to anyone.

Beautiful!

I went to Brugge, Belgium, this past summer and had a great trip. Part of that experience was seeing this original sculpture, which is beautiful. This statute is a spitting image of the original and was a must have due to my trip. Very nostalgic, so it now sits in my garden. Craftsmanship is very good, as was the packaging it came from. Recommended!

Visible from the road @ 50 feet

Beautiful. I notice it each day I drive past the front of my house. I’ll post a pic as soon as I can. Expect to pay $250 at a “statue lot”. This is nice!
