Great piece!

Decided to paint it in a realistic color using acrylic paints. It came out surprisingly well! The craftsman ship in its normal form is quite superb and is a great addition to any wall.

Beautiful statue

I already had the other two Design Toscano relief sculpture that could be said to be part of "This Set." "The Twist and "Surrender." I've had the other two for a while, actually, but I decided not to get this one because it looked a little off in the pictures. It was always in the back of my mind, so I finally "Surrendered." I'm glad I did, it's a superb statue. The paint job (or shading) is a little splotchy, that's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5. Overall it's stunning. I also want to point out that these 3 statues really don't make a set because even though they are similar, they are different. They're really not in scale with each other, the face of "The Twist" and "Rachel's Way" really don't match up, and for some reason "Surrender" has a mat finish where the other two are glossy (atleast mine is). I have them in a room where the lighting is subdued so it really doesn't show, and "The Twist" is on a separate wall so the differences aren't in evidence. I have an idea that in brighter light and with all three on the same wall together they just wouldn't work. Still, overall, really happy.
