Good shower controls

For the most part, the cartridge installs easily enough. I'm not a plumber, more of a handyman type, but it was not difficult. Just follow the directions that come with the controls. The aggravating part was working with the temperature control limit stop. It's small and my old fingers had a bit of difficulty handling it and getting it set right for us, but we got it adjusted to suit our preference for temperature and we're happy with our new shower.

Works well and looks great!

I upgraded from a chrome trim piece and am really happy with the result. Installation didn't take long and all required pieces were included in the package.

I had my entire bathroom remodeled and wanted something very simple and not big. This was absolutely perfect. It looks good and it is so easy to regulate your hot and cold. I highly recommend.

Cool feature, kindof flimsy

The temp control is a cool feature. It looks nice. But its loose fitting and kinda flimsy with no way to tighten it up. For this price you would hope it to be more solid like other basic handles. So far it has worked well.

Not sure if my contractor installed this correctly -- but hot & cold directions are backwards

This is an attractive, sturdy valve trim kit (you need to buy the valve separately). There's a good range of motion on the level that allows you to control the temperature separately from the water pressure. Unfortunately, after my contractor installed it, I learned that the temperature controls are backwards - I have to push it to the left toward the red dot to get colder water and to the right toward the blue dot to get hotter water. It was probably installed incorrectly ... so just a heads up to tell your plumber or installer to make sure the water connections are done correctly.
