Nice shoes but run large

My son needed some new dress shoes for a special event. He wears a size 4 XW tennis shoes. Based on reviews I ordered a 3.5 wide and they were still very large on him. I couldn't gone down to a 3 or maybe even 2.5 wide. I didn't have enough time to return/reorder so thankfully he was able to make them work by doubling up on thick socks for the event. They are nice looking shoes. Hard to speak regarding quality after just one indoor use but I will update in the future if I notice a problem.

Decent shoe but sized large

This is a pretty good shoe for those special occasions, but proper sizing may take a couple of atttempts. In reading prior reviews, it was hard to say because some said it was too big; others said it was too small. Well, I have to vote for the too big side. If your kid is new to wearing a size 9, you might want to order an 8.5. If he is nearing the end of his size 9 days, order a size 9. Get it? Shoe has nice rubber soles and is easy to get on with the elastic in the lip. I reordered once. Despite the sizing issue, I would order this product again.

Too tight to get foot into

I bought a pair for each one of my boys, the same size as they normally wear and the shoe doesn’t have enough expansion to fit the foot into the show without pain. I exchanged for larger and wider shoes, but same issue happened. Returning all 4 pairs and finding another brand. My kids are both thin and underweight, so it’s not like they have fat feet.

My son doesn't have wide or "tall" feet so I can't comment on them being too snug as other reviewers have said, but they fit my 3 year old great and to my surprise they have not scuffed up much at all. My son calls them "comfy" and they're easy for him to get on and off by himself. He wore them in a wedding as the ring bearer and now I catch him trying to wear them outside to play because, as he says, "I love these shoes mom". After 2 months (but minimal wear) they are still very nice looking and shiny. Soles are still in great condition, no flaws as far as I can see! Bottom line: If my youngest son needs a pair of dress shoes in the future I will definitely buy these again!

Nice looking shoe, but was slightly too small.

These shoes look nice, once we can get them onto our son. We had to do a lot of stretching of the shoe and have him wear very thin socks. It was a lot of effort to get them on him, but once they were on, they seemed to be a good length from heel to toe. I even ordered up a half size of his regular shoe size to be on the safe side. I would order this brand again, just in a bigger size next time.

I had my 10 year old son try these on in a local store and a size 3 for great! We did not buy them that day for whatever reason. Anyway, I ended up ordering them and they are a bit big. Not sure what happened, my son wore too thick of socks or the shoes are actually a different size. Who knows. I unfortunately don't have time to return so we will make do. My advice is to buy it right then And it fits!

Seems like a decent shoe for a kid

These shoes seem pretty nice. They look well made and are hopefully durable. After one wear, they do have the telltale crease where my son bends his foot, but that is expected. He complained they were too tight near the ankle, but I am chucking that up to the "new shoe feeling". Hopefully, these will last us awhile.

Size up

The arch is great on them. The width is a bit slim and tight but they are sturdy. We always buy deer stags for all our boys church shoes.
