Beautiful, but measurements larger than stated

I loved this, but it is 12" tall, not 9". For most people using it a table centerpiece the extra 3" probably doesn't matter, but my intended spot for it was only 10" tall. It is definitely much larger than expected, not only in height but even the individual fruits themselves. The scale was too large in general. Again this could be a positive or even just neutral depending on your needs, but for our space it didn't work. I can't tell you how disappointed I am because it is EXACTLY what I wanted and would look perfect in its intended location, if only it was offered in a smaller size. Even the colors are perfect, a warm/fall golden colored pear, darker fall red apples, and green stems.

I have been watching this for quite some time, at first I did not want to pay the high price that they were asking for it but recently I notice that the Amazon warehouse had it for under $30, still too high but I have had such good luck with items from the warehouse I decided to get it and I have to say that it is beautiful piece, I love the details of the fruits, the vibrant colors, the craftsmanship and the size. I currently have it on my side table but if I get bored with it there I can put it on my dining table. A definite recommend.

To my surprise the packaging was a big box and I wondered why waste material.When I opened the package and saw these, I laughed! They are so bigger than I imagined,2x bigger than I imagined to be precise.they are still the quality I expected and the colors as pictured.I like them even in their huge size i guess they are ok.I just did not expect them to be that big.say, the GMO size versus organic hahaha!
