My Merrel shoe size is a 6. So if you only have a 5 size foot they will be a little loose

Have worn and loved Dearform slippers for years. Perfect fit for me, did change to a wide.

Good Fit and Comfortable
These slippers were originally just a little bit tight, as some people stated in their reviews. I thought about returning them, but decided to wait a few days and give them a chance. Within a couple of days, they stretched out a bit and fit just fine. I generally wear between size 5 and 6, depending on the style and brand. The small worked just fine. If I had gone with a size up, it would have been to big.

Purple smalls
I have a short slightly wide foot. I bought smalls and they fit well, I did add my own arch which makes them snug but overall I'm happy. I only wear them in the house. I don't wear them often. Because I have difficulty walking do to MS so I can't attest to their wear and hold up. Purple is pretty but not obnoxiously bright.

If your feet are sensitive - don’t!
I thought for sure because they were Dearfoam, these slippers would be great. My feet are sensitive and these shoes drove me nuts. First two tags, one is “ Dearfoam” sewn in the inside bottom. It rubs. Then another tag sewn in by the inside seam which sticks out. If that wasn’t enough, the padding is uneven and bunches at the toe after wearing them 3 times. I wish I had sent them back instead of trying so hard to make them work. 2 stars are for good delivery otherwise meh!
